La Paz Mexican Restaurant has been serving the community since 1976 when Jose & Josefina first began. La Paz’s mission is to provide best quality food and service from the Mendez Family with a comfortable ambiance that makes its customers feel right at home. An array of authentic delicious Mexican meals ranging in everything from tacos & enchiladas, to camarones a la diabla, chicken wraps, dinners, breakfast, appetizers, salads, house wines, American & Mexican beers. Our catering trays are perfect for weddings, birthdays, baby showers and other events where Carnitas, Fajitas (beef, chicken & shrimp), Taquitos, Carne Asada, Enchiladas (cheese, ground beef, or chicken), Shredded Beef, guacamole, rice and beans are sure to fully satisfy you.

My first and probably only meal in California for now, I walked here in afternoon sunshine and enjoyed very much the salad and fish taco and very huge glass of beer.
Loved the booth to sit in.

La Paz is my favorite in El Segundo! Whether it’s pick up or eating in, I love the food, the atmosphere and the people. It’s really solid authentic Mexican food, you can’t go wrong. If I could do a meal plan here and eat every day I would but my wife won’t let me. don’t overthink it La Paz is always a solid choice 100 out of 10 stars.

I had a real good time eating food here. Everyone attended to me very well. The service was on top, and I just love how I felt like I was being treated as family. I also love that it’s a family joint, and I’m supporting a local business. I’ll definitely be back there. Micheladas are really good, and I had the enchilada with a taco plate. Excellent food! I love that it came very hot and enjoyed every bit of it. Food service was top-notch.

We looked at reviews and decided to try La Paz. We are glad we did! We were welcomed as soon as we walked in the door and it only got better from there! Beatrice and all of the staff were awesome , the food was great, and I highly recommend visiting La Paz! Walk, drive, however you do it, just get here!

The place is located in a very nice community but not only did the server forget about the kind of tacos we wanted, but also the ones she served us with were terrible. The only thing we enjoyed were the quesadillas.

Great carnitas. Wonderful mix of flavors with the different types of salsas included with the chips. Guacamole was nicely blended. And the service was warm, genuine and very friendly. Glad I called up and ordered directly as the lady who answered walked me through their options as I described what I liked. A great meal and glad I chose to grab Mexican food from here. Wish I could have dined in, but the current restrictions they did a great job of packaging up diner to go and the food traveled well as I walked with it back to my hotel.

Oh yehhhhhhh…best on the block. Family owned and operated for years. Service is spectacular….they are on it. Recipes are awesome. The Camarones a la Diabla is special. I can’t stop getting their Carnitas….in every form….Carnitas Gaudalajara, Tacos, Enchiladas, etc….
Chili Relleno and Tamales (I’ve had Pork and Cheese) also really tasty. The Flan is great!
This is an old school place and the flavors don’t betray that. Homemade Salsa is always on point and they just never disappoint.
