This is a great place to have some authentic food prepared by authentic people. The interior is nicely decorated and very welcoming. The food was very good and served with a smile. I would recommend this place for some small town authentic food.

Despite the existing Google reviews, we intentionally chose this location to give it a fair opportunity.
I asked one simple question: what size shrimp is used in the ceviche? We routinely ask this at Mexican or Spanish-style restaurants.
The response was, “I don’t know,” delivered with attitude.
I said, “Okay, no problem,” and she hung up on me immediately.
The call lasted approximately four seconds.
It’s difficult not to feel secondhand embarrassment. Losing a $600–$750 table in four seconds — over a basic menu question — isn’t about competition. It’s about standards.

The chips were light and crispy, and the salsa spot on. The blend of chocolate and spice in the Mole was perfectly prepared, as was the freshly made guacamole. Even the margaritas were very delicious. We will definitely be back when in the area

No chips, no anything to make it look edible. No seasoning. I tried this place when it first opened and had the same experience. Nachos were awful. I feel like they aren’t even trying.

Had a great Saturday afternoon at La Patrona. Staff was warm and welcoming.
The beverages we had were excellent, I quite enjoyed my horchata, and others in my party enjoyed their hibiscus water.
While we waited for our order we enjoyed chips and salsa. When the food arrived it looked great! The food smelled amazing and tasted great. Portions were generous.
The restaurant was decorated nicely with festive Mexican touches. I wish the restaurant much success!

Delicious food,-all 4 of us really enjoyed everything we ordered. Portions were huge also. Prices are good.
The atmosphere was very festive. The wall colors were bright and lively. I really liked looking at all of the sugar skulls!!!
Looking forward to enjoying a margarita in the future.

We just left an amazing dinner at La Patrona. We went to celebrate my husband and son’s birthdays and La Patrona went out of their way to make the birthday dinner special. They put a birthday banner, balloons and decorations. The food was delicious and service fast and friendly! We will definitely go back!

Since I’m vegan it was a bit hard to find something to eat, but they’re accommodating in removing items from dishes. Service was great, clear and kind. I was with a large group and she did a great job remembering what everyone got. It definitely helped that we were the only people there. Only thing I’ll say is I think the decorations are sort of cheap looking. Lots of AI art and images. This place is fun for families but not anything romantic with your significant other. I would recommend just for the experience and the service! :]

Well what a complete let down… such a shame that a waitress can ruin the whole experience.
Was happy to see a new restaurant and went there, no one else was in the restaurant except 2 waitresses sitting at a table. The menu is written in words that I could not understand so I asked for help.
Geeze… you’d think with no other customers you’d glady, with a smile, tell of all your fabulous dishes… instead she got a puss on her face like she didnt want to be explaining anything and a generally slumped posture like I was bothering her.. I guess she just had to get back to the table she was sitting at when we got there to finish doing nothing!
I literally had to pry the information of what the menu said from her… why do people become servers if they have no desire to actually interact with the customers. Its so annoying. My boyfriend still tipped her but I wish he hadnt because now she thinks its ok to treat people like that and she’ll still get tipped. Anyway I do not recommend this place and we’ll never go back again.

I have decided to try to be encouraging because this is a new restaurant in town. The only thing I will say is my friend did order the beef burrito and they didn’t tell her it’s shredded beef. I didn’t mind my enchiladas although the rice was not very seasoned and I didn’t care for the beans. I did like the Mexican soda. I didn’t care for the salsa,but I like
Mine with more fresh tomatoes so,maybe next time I can put in a special request or you can give me suggestions. I do want to give them another chance,but I think I would choose other options instead of the original items.
