Years ago, when I was a kid, this place was good. The patties were fresh (although small ) and reasonably priced. Today, however, the service and quality have declined significantly. They only accept cash, and the patties are stale; it’s clear they just reheat the ones that didn’t sell the previous day. They are applying an outdated, broken business mindset to a new generation. The employees—and even the owner—lack any sense of customer service. Charging more for less while quality and quantity decline is a recipe for disaster. The only reason they’re still open is that people come seeking the nostalgia of authentic Haitian patties, only to be disappointed. ‍♂️

This has been my childhood bakery place for years and the fact that I come visit my hometown and see nothing has changed it Absurd the customer service truly is pathetic and make Haitians look bad . To have such a thriving establishment and be that rude to customers makes absolutely no sense and the fact that they only take cash is super inconvenient in 2022 but i see why , had they started taking card they’ve have multiple dispute claims of people trying to get their money back because they know the service is trash . Nonetheless I got the chicken pate as well as the spaghetti. By the taste of the pate I could tell they’d been sitting there all day and I just got a stale batch there was no real freshness to it . The spaghettini was tolerable a bit dry but I managed .

The patties are the best in town. The cakes are good as well. The cake decoration and customer service are pure garbage. I paid for a cake and got this (which had a misspelling in the word awesome that they desperately tried to fix). When I pointed out the poor quality of the “decorations,” I was yelled at for daring to question his work and rudely given back my money. I will never be back. No quality of a product is worth such low levels of service.

I purchased 6 beef patties on Friday January 3rd, 2025. So, yes this is recent. Patties were hard as a bullet, meat was not flavorful. What a waste of time and money. Never again. In my opinion I think they are using the name la patisserie, but they aren’t the same owners. Patties are not being made by the original baker. Pure garbage..

The cake tastes better back then. Cash only…no cake knife provided They could just buy cake knives from dollar tree and resale same price $1. Make it convenient for your customers.

The customer service was awful. I wish I could rescinde my tip, after how rude they were. The food was disgusting — the “pâtés” were terrible. They smelled rancid and they weren’t close to authentic because there was way too much dough. It was a waste of $45 for 3 dozen. Everyone at our event ending up throwing them in the trash.

Best pates and cakes in town. We have been going there for over a decade. My favorite pates are the cod ones. Warning the bakery only take cash. Also, pre-order your cakes to ensure freshness. Their decorations are simple and old-fashion, but if you can take a picture of what you want and they can try to make it.

Love this place! The Patties are always nice and fresh. Ronald the manager is awesome. I go there at least once every two months as I live quite ways away.

Hot, flaky, crispy outside, and juicy chicken filling. I’m not sure how they ensure the inside stayed moist, but it’s delicious . It’s an old-school cash only establishment, so bring cash. The staff is helpful, but the bakery goods speak for itself.
