Had lunch here before – which was fine. Tonight;
Halloween; worst waiter ever – sent back filet pur
which was bloody rather than medium rare, to be cooked 30 seconds more…
After 5 minutes, a new steak appeared which was rump steak at best – impossible to eat.
No follow up service, no questions, no apologies from this amateur waiter.
Sad to ruin a place in Joli Bois like this.

La Pâte et Ose is an amazing restaurant! The atmosphere is very cozy and clean. I tried the Irish coffee, and it was truly excellent—full of flavor. The food is also very delicious, and the presentation is beautiful. The staff is friendly and helpful. If you are in Waterloo, I highly recommend visiting this place.

So slow, table of 7 and 1h wait for starters, 1h30 wait and counting for mains. Clumsy staff, throwing cutlery on your table. Very limited wine choices as they have run out of most choices. Food is ok but not worth the asking price. Very dark, we lit the candles at our table ourselves

Excellent food served with attention to detail. The menu is varied and not just pasta although they do that extremely well! There is a large selection of dishes and all those I’ve sampled have always been well cooked and very tasty including some excellent combinations of ingredients. The staff are very attentive and the restaurant itself has an excellent ambiance.

Food is well presented and tasteful, but menu items not always as described. One dish contained truffles when menu said this was not the case and when you take that dish to avoid this, it comes as an unpleasant surprise for those who don’t like truffels. An apology or a commercial gesture would have been appreciated. Unavailability of certain menu items. Cocktails overpriced. Meat dishes on the expensive side.

Well, for a place where it is supposed to be “pasta” specialised (well at least in the name) , i was disappointed . Not very tasty, pasta do not seem very “fresca” more what you can find in super market. We were kinda kindly asked to leave, first to close the register , then probably to go home… Not a very pleasant way to spend the evening… I don t advise the “grand assiette de desserts” neither. Profiterole did not seem freshly made, really disappointing and very expensive for this quality…
