Last month we visited this restaurant, the service was friendly with us, the food was served quickly after ordering. We hope that the flavors of the food were good, just missing a lot of salt and seasoning, the taste was plain in my food, and the pastelito had a lot of potatoes mixed with the ground beef, I can tell like 70% potatoes vs 30% beef, it was too much.

A little hard to find but well worth the effort. Staff is friendly and food is delicious. We were passing through Socorro and glad we found this! Friendly regulars make you feel right at home.

A genuine gem, family run cantina. The service is fast, prices are modest, and food is good. It’s small inside, but if you are looking for a local Mexican restaurant that is full of regular customers who all seem to know one another, this is it.

Nice people… Food…adequate. I’m not Mexican so maybe it’s not a valid critique. I am quite familiar with the cuisine having lived in LA. I’m not sure they’d survive in Cali. I have lots more to say but a second visit might be necessary for a better assessment. If you eat there and convey something you thought I missed… please let me know. For now, I’ll leave it at 2 until I hear otherwise.

This place is incredible on all the levels. Literally the best chips I’ve ever had, and the best sopapillas. They were like beignets, with a lot of layering and so much flavor. Really lovely staff.

***No alcohol due to it being by a school.***Authentic feel, menu is good but lacks detail, had three tacos “hamburger meat” there was little to no flavor. It was cheap. Three of us went and asked for separate checks. We got one check with three different prices circled. The server didn’t know who owes what…we tried to pay correctly but it got confusing.

The chimichangas were superb! Soft, tender, flaky crust, with mashed potatoes, chilis and ground beef – serious comfort food.

The owners are so friendly and need all the local support. La Pasadita is a great place for quick Mexican food. Choose from traditional tacos, burritos or specialty sopapillos, flautas or empanadas. Plates come with beans and rice, enough on one plate to share. The specialties are fried so those watching their waistlines need a few more minutes of activity.
