Hands down the best menudo I have ever had in US. Book and honeycomb tripa as soft as candy. Can really taste the cumin come out. Multiple condiments included with tremendous handmade corn tortillas. Side of rice and beans impecable. Red salsa in squeez bottle has excellent fire. Big menu. Quick, amazing service. Classic banda music videos on TV to entertain. Incredible price for one of the best meals in San Antonio Area. The star of Kirby and NE San Antonio.

The building looks older from the outside but thats even better because that means they’ve been is business for a long time. So don’t let that stop you from enjoying there food. Walked in and was immediately greeted. Was able to sit anywhere. Very clean and fresh, tables were spaced out and not squished together. Waiters are super nice, very attentive, they are bilingual as well. Coffee was great food was even better and not so expensive. Absolutely loved my experience here and felt safe, almost like home. This restaurant is definitely my go to for morning breakfast now. Absolutely loved it!

I gave four stars only because the food didn’t really taste fresh. I’m not saying it was bad but it seemed like it was warmed back up. Like I said it wasn’t bad, but the tortillas were the worst. I opened the tortillas and they were hot fresh and super soft but after like 2 mins they got hard and kinda crunchy . The staff was nice.

This one has been here awhile and does not ever disappoints me very friendly staff and the food is great . Yes them torrtias are fresh. Tried both Corn , Flour ! Stopped in for some authentic Mexican food…rice & beans good, chicken seasoned well & tender, guacamole ate it all…only issue was the cheese in the enchiladas was paper thin and congealed hard…wish I had gotten a pix of that…staff friendly, restrooms clean

I call in an order cheese enchiladas to go, come to find out when I get there that is a daily special what’s tea, and it is the same price to go or to dinner in, did I get the tea for free NOPE, even after I mention it to them how about the special , nope that just bad customer service

First and last time going i got the barbacoa plate and so did my wife the barbacoa was cold and had a grayish color to it it also had a unusual smell to it the potaots where under cooked and cold at the same time

Food is ok. My wife likes it. That’s why I go. One of the waitresses is present but her mind is not. I don’t recommend it unless you want to be asking the waitresses about three or four times for things you want or need.
