A friend had booked a table for his wife’s birthday celebration for 16 of us. This was handled beautifully considering its quite a small venue. The entire night we were attended to by a very friendly member of staff who had impeccable timing, she always seemed to know exactly when to come to take our next order. The food is absolutely delicious and incredibly good value for money considering they do All You Can Eat tapas for £29.95. The cocktails were also yummy and very good value for money. I had a creme brulee for dessert, despite being so full after 8 tapas dishes, which was absolutely gorgeous and the perfect finish for an amazing meal. All in all we spent 3+ hours here and enjoyed every second! Would 100% recommend to anybody wanting a delicious and great value for money meal in the area.

I recently popped into La Parrilla Tapas Bar & Grill in Sheffield and absolutely loved it. The midweek deal is incredible value for money, and clearly enough people agree—when we visited, the place was buzzing and packed with happy diners. The food itself was delightful, full of authentic Mediterranean flavours, from tapas to pasta. Would highly recommend—great food, great atmosphere, and a fantastic midweek deal!

Came here for the bottomless tapas which is pretty good value for money. Most of the dishes were nice but a few were a little disappointing and I wouldn’t say it was traditional Spanish tapas. The staff were very attentive and friendly, and the cocktails were nice.

Three of us dined here opting for the ‘eat until you are full’ option after seeing good reviews – the concept works well as you get a large variety of choices. I rate some of the dishes we had as follows – Calamari 8.5/10. Crispy pork belly 8.5/10 salad 8/10 lamb chops 7/10 braised beef shank 9/10 sirloin steak 8.5/10 halloumi 4/10 fried fish 1/10. The reason the fried fish was 1/10 is because it was partially raw and I had to send it back – disappointingly the waiter tried to justify the raw fish and I suggested he try some to understand it’s raw to which he replied he’s a vegetarian !!! Without the raw (undercooked) fish I would have rated the food higher – I still recommend trying them out as all other dishes were either very good or acceptable. Relatively it’s good value and we had 10 dishes each leaving us full and satisfied. One hygiene issue was that the inside door of the gents was disgustingly dirty (please see last pic on this review). If this has helped you please like the review and if you follow me I will follow you back – have a lovely day.

My husband and I had gone on Valentine’s Day with our 5 month old baby. A prebooked reservation stating that we were bringing our baby in a pram. Upon arrival we were told we couldn’t take our pram to the table due to lack of space. Our reservation was at 3:30 and we were told we had to leave by 5 as they were fully booked, which hadn’t been communicated prior to our visit. We were given 2 broken high chairs so my baby had to be on my knee or in his car seat for the duration of the visit. We opted for the ‘all you can eat until full’ menu and it took 20 minutes to take our first order and they took our last order an hour later so we did not get many rounds of the AYCE and no discount provided. Whilst eating our last round, one of the waitresses said she was bringing our bill as the next customers were here. She brought the bill while we were eating and did not thank us after we paid £91 for our bill. The experience was spoiled by an unorganised and unwelcoming atmosphere. I have since emailed the restaurant twice and received no response hence writing a public review now.
It was a massive shame as we had heard great things about La Parilla but it is not child friendly, for having an hour for AYCE it is not good value for money, and worst of all rude staff.

Firstly staff were lovely, very welcoming, very quick service with drinks and really friendly.

The food was bland and unappealing. The Croquetas De Pollo, were gluey and had no flavour, the pork belly was dry and tough. My partner had the salad and the prawns. The salad was good, good portion and the salad leaves were fresh, the prawns were small but the sauce was lovely. The potato’s bravas, were sauce was bland and the potatoes were oily, clearly not cooked fresh. Appeared to be just refried.

The atmosphere, it was absolutely freezing and I had to sit and have dinner in my coat the entire time which was not nice, even the staff were commenting how cold it was. The toilets were uncleanly and grubby and the staff would leave the door to the toilets to access the kitchen, which led to the dining area open, meaning there was a smell and added further to coldness.

The price for the quality was really overpriced. We didnt have the all you can eat menu we paid for the main menu tapas option. I went to this location due to the positive reviews however felt like these were heavily misleading or the establishment was unfortunately just having a really bad day. The staff did ask how was the food on 2 occasions however I didnt inform them as I didnt want them to offer me anymore disappointing food and I didnt want a refund as the staff had been so lovely.
I will not be returning or recommending this place because of the poor food however I do want to state that the staff were lovely!

Food was good but 5 dishes on the menu was not available and it was my luck that those 5 dishes were the only ones I really wanted to try. They were understaffed that night as they had a huge group booking hence service was a bit slow.

The pasta dish was amazing and was the best dish out of the dishes that we got to try.
Steak was also very good and I could’ve just kept ordering that all night.
Mussles are a must try especially the sauce was amazing.
Calamari was also very good!
They also have an option gor half pint beers in cute glasses
Paella was not good jusy tasted oily really

We’ve been here before and loved it, and this visit was no different. The all-you-can-eat tapas is excellent value for money, with a great range of dishes and generous portions. Even though it was extremely busy and the team were clearly under a lot of pressure, the staff were friendly, attentive, and worked incredibly hard throughout the evening.

Yes, service was a little slower than usual, but that was entirely understandable given how packed the restaurant was, and we still received plenty of food and enjoyed everything we ordered. The atmosphere was lively, the food was delicious, and the staff handled a very demanding service with professionalism and care.

We’ll happily be back and would absolutely recommend it.

Thanks,

James and Rebecca

Most of the food was absolute fine, but most of it was just fine, not amazing or anything. We probably won’t go back …
We did the bottomless tapas and were convinced the paella we ordered had either been made a few days ago and reheated in the microwave visible from our table, or it was straight out of a premade sachet. There was no depth of flavour and the rice was stuck together in clumps (the way it behaves when you make microwave rice). Surprised us because it was by far the worst dish on the menu but I feel like paella should be their bread and butter ? Something they do super well. I think this place has super great potential and maybe the bottomless tapas food is just lower quality due to the speed it needs to come out but maybe there should be some balance.
