Always great food here no matter what time of day you come to visit. I tried a new dish this visit and it was just as good as my regular choice. I had a fajita bowl with rice and chicken. Absolutely delicious.

O.M.G! A group of 30 of us were at La Perilla for a birthday dinner last night. Carlos, our server and Lucy, the manager were outstanding. For such a big group, they were very attentive, refilled drink drinks & And food for 30 people came out almost at the same time! The service was five star and so was the food! It was so good. I ate my whole plate of food and I can’t wait to come back!! It’s the best Mexican food restaurant that I’ve ever eaten at!!

Some friends, my hubby, and I had the pleasure of enjoying dinner at LA Parrilla Mexican restaurant. A truly gratifying experience. Our server’s name was Luisa, and she was very attentive to us all. Answered our questions and made sure our drinks we’re refilled and checked in on us regularly. We all enjoyed our orders. Definitely, I will return. The food is wonderful, and the portion is fulfilling.

The aracherra skirt steak is always perfectly juicy and tender. Also, not too salty. My favorite dish here. The drinks are also great, not watered down like other places.

UPDATE LATE 2025: I’m just coming on here to rave about my server named Vicky she was absolutely perfect. I wish that I could press a button and have her with me at every place that I dine. She was intuitive she had a good attitude she anticipated our needs she didn’t overcrowd us I even had to make substitutions to my order thanks ridiculous menu option that doesn’t allow you to choose grilled chicken on the grande nachos. I reached out to the district manager and she did not respond to my email or even acknowledge it very disappointed by this because it makes it more difficult for the servers and the customers. However, in spite of this Vicky did an immaculate job of making sure my order was correct. I just want to rave about her and if you’ve ever had her please come and leave her a review so that she can get the recognition she deserves.

Tonight, I had a very disappointing experience at one of my favorite spots. One of the main reasons I’ve chosen this place over other options closer to home has always been the quality of their grilled chicken. Unfortunately, that seems to have changed.
Instead of the hearty portions I’ve come to expect, the chicken was chopped into so many tiny pieces that it gave the appearance of more, but in reality, it was a small portion with a lot of hard, dry crumbs that tasted old. It felt like the kitchen was cutting corners, and as a customer, that comes across as being cheated.
To make matters worse, my nachos weren’t even served with proper tortilla chips. Instead, I found large, broken taco shells mixed in. Yes, I know they’re made from the same thing, but I didn’t order taco shells—I ordered nachos. The presentation was careless, and the experience overall was disappointing, especially from a place I’ve always enjoyed.
To be fair, my server was excellent. She was attentive, accurate, and I truly appreciated her service. But the kitchen really fumbled tonight. Because I love this place, I’ll give them another chance—but if the quality of the grilled chicken on the nachos continues to slide, I’ll have to find another go-to spot. I don’t like feeling cheated, and that’s exactly how I felt tonight.

My hubby said this place cost more than our usual spot but little does he know this will become our new usual. My apologies for not showing the Safe Serve score as I normally do, but y’all know that passed cause I didn’t turn around and leave when I saw it. Tip: if you don’t like soggy crunchy tacos, ask them to drain the meat. I don’t know why this isn’t a common practice. Our server was attentive and other staff that came to the table were nice. We shall return but for my husband sake I wish I had saved those coupon from those new residents packets.

Absolutely loving this La Parrilla location, it’s hands down my favorite! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and consistently delicious. The service is outstanding every time, and Lucy truly stands out with her warm, welcoming energy. You can tell the entire team works together seamlessly and with genuine care. We ordered the Seafood Del Mar, Nachos, and Chicken Tacos with a side of rice. Every bite was amazing. Thanks to Carlos, our server, this afternoon. Huge thanks to the whole staff for creating such a positive and enjoyable dining experience!
We will definitely be back. I highly recommend this location for a date night , girs night out ,or simply a fun filled family night. It’s something for everyone to enjoy.
