My mom came to the U.S. from India, and my brother and I wanted her to try some Mexican food. I ordered combo plate 17 with shredded chicken, my brother got shrimp tacos, and my mom had combo 1. My mom and I really enjoyed our food, while my brother thought it was just okay. My plate was huge, the portions were impressive. We also tried two desserts, flan and brownie with vanilla ice cream, but neither of them really worked for us.

We’ve come here for years and it’s always been a go to for us. I don’t care for this new change. They took away the booths. We love the booths, much more comfortable. Also, probably without the furniture, it’s so loud in there now I can’t hear others very well. Also number 2, they changed my margarita recipe, it not a big deal but I don’t get it. I just don’t care much for the changes, but I think I’m rational about it not just that it’s different. In the end the meal was just less comfortable than it was before, for those reasons, but we’ll see if things turn around next time.

I work here at the forum and decided to stop by after work for dinner. The service, exceptional. The food…not very good. It wasn’t nasty but just didn’t have a good taste. The nachos had an amazing presentation but the grease mixed with the cheese at the bottom and made a watery mess. I don’t think I’d return.

I was in the area and ordered lunch from this location on Monday. I drove back to my side of town, only to discover that my order was wrong. I called back and spoke with the gentleman who took my order. I explained that I could not come back that day for a replacement because I did not live close by. He proceeded to ask why I could not come back that day and I told him again that I did not live close by. He told me the next time I was in the area to stop by, with my receipt, and get a replacement. Totally fine.
Today, I walked into the restaurant for the replacement. I spoke with the manager. I explained the matter to him. He tells me they will make the issue right. He then proceeds to tell me that there is a location closer to me. I told him I was aware, but I thought I needed to get the replacement from the location that messed up on the order. He proceeds to tell me that instead of coming to his location for lunch I could’ve gone to the location closest to me. I told him I was in the area on Monday and chose their location based on that. I also told him that I could choose any location that works best for me.
While I appreciate this location correcting the mistake, I did not appreciate the interaction with the manager. Mistakes happen. Not a problem. It is how you RESPOND that makes the difference and that impacts the customer’s experience. Based on this interaction, I will not return and do not recommend this location.

Absolutely love this place! The wonderful energy, from all of their beautiful seasonal decor, delicious food and drinks is always impeccable! We really loved our server Gisela today! She took great care of us and everything was perfect and came out quickly. We really appreciate the work that goes into a successful meal and they do a great job! We’ve been coming here 10+ years and it gets better everytime! Thanks again! We’ll always be back ❤️

I’ve been here multiple times and almost always get the same thing, which is always good. Service is a hit or miss but it’s always busy and sort of hectic. If you’re looking for a quiet, intimate space to eat and have deep conversations, this is probably not it. But if you’re looking for good food and drinks in a lively atmosphere, it’s a good choice!

I took a couple coworkers from India there, but the food was just average with not much flavour. Not a good way to expose someone to a new food. The drinks were good

La Parrilla is always a great spot to get your Mexican fix and catch up with friends! We came for a quick lunch birthday celebration and had a great time The food was flavorful, the service was fast and friendly, and the atmosphere is always fun. Definitely one of my go-to spots for cute vibes.
