I recently visited the Fayetteville location, and unfortunately, my experience did not compare to the exceptional service and quality I always receive at the Sandy Springs location.

I specifically requested the chicken and beef tacos that I previously enjoyed at Sandy Springs, but I was told that this location does not offer them—even after I provided photos showing exactly what I received at the other restaurant. I ended up ordering one chicken and one beef taco, but the presentation was disappointing and nowhere near as appetizing or appealing as the Sandy Springs experience.

I also ordered a Texas margarita with sugar on the rim due to my health restrictions—I do not consume salt because of high blood pressure. Although the rim had sugar, the drink itself tasted overwhelmingly salty, as if sugar and salt were mixed together. Because of this, I was unable to enjoy the drink and left most of it behind, as shown in the photos. I didn’t want to cause a scene by sending it back, so I tried to drink a few sips, but it was ultimately a waste of money.

On a positive note, my waitress, Shantel, was absolutely amazing. She did everything she could to accommodate me and was kind and attentive throughout my visit. She informed me that the manager wanted to see proof of the tacos I previously received, which I provided. Even after showing the photos, I was still told they “don’t do that,” which was disappointing.

Unfortunately, I will not be returning to the Fayetteville location. I will continue to visit Sandy Springs, where service, quality, and consistency are always top-tier. If you’d like a comparison, feel free to check out my five-star review of the Sandy Springs location.

After a terrible experience down the road ( La Rinconcito) where we couldn’t even get served, La Parrilla was a breath of fresh air. Despite it being a very busy Sunday afternoon, we were greeted and seated immediately. The staff is clearly well-trained and moving with a purpose. Our server was attentive, the food came out hot and fast, and the atmosphere was vibrant. It’s clear why this place is crowded while others are empty—they actually value their customers. We will definitely be back!

Enjoyed my bday lunch at La Parilla. The food was DELICIOUS! My waitress was a little bit pre-occupied so she didn’t check on me as much but she redeemed herself with the bday song and dessert, lol.

I came to the Fayetteville location to celebrate my birthday. It was the perfect time because it wasn’t as packed like it normally is. We had the pleasure of being served by Nicole. She was so genuinely nice & patient and her attention to detail was spot on. She remembered everything for our party of 8, kept drink refills coming. I had a birthday pin on so she gathered her co-workers to sing happy birthday to me & no one from my table asked them to sing. Outstanding service from Nicole today. The food was also very delicious & hot.

We had a good time here! Service and food were both really good and I love that they have TVs with the game on in the dinning room. The chips were fresh and salsa was spicy and delicious! I highly recommend the fajita rice bowl. I also had the chicken fluatas, the meat is seasoned well and they always come out hot and fresh, I’ve had them twice now.

Our experience at this restaurant has been mostly very positive. The only weird thing was how the hostess barely greeted us and acted strange when taking our names and didn’t tell us how long of a wait it would be.Typically this would be an indication of how the meal would go, but this was not the case. The server was extremely friendly but seemed to be taking care of a lot of tables so our wait in between seeing him was often kinda long. There was support staff that was filling in, making sure our water was filled and seeing if we needed anything. The food was good but very average tasting. There was nothing that stood out that would make me choose this establishment over another. The price we paid was more than what we pay at other Mexican restaurants. I do like that it is open later than most, and that is probably what will bring us back more often than not.
