Love this place!!! I’ve eaten here a few times and it’s so good every time. The food is tasty, comforting, and always fresh tasting. Their salsa is delicious too! The man that takes our order is also so friendly and greets us like friends every time we come. All around a great place to eat and feel welcomed. Would recommend you to try!

While the food was edible, it was immensely bland. This tasted akin to a teenager who had the munchies and whipped up a late night snack. I’ve had much worse Mexican food where it almost made me want to vomit. At least the food at La Parilla didn’t reach that point, if you want to even consider that a positive.

Absolutely the best Mexican place in the area. Salsa is homemade. Gorditas are not on the menu but they will make them for you.

Street tacos were amazing and flavorful, as a Texan visiting Illinois I did not expect to find such a good Mexican restaurant up north. It felt like I was in a taqueria back in south Texas on the border. Margaritas were amazing as well with friendly service.
