TLDR; Delicious food, exceptional service provided by Robert + staff, quaint romantic atmosphere. Does not feel like you’re in Aiken, feels more like a restaurant in NYC.
We came in a little early for dinner, which thank goodness we did, this place got BUSY and the whole dining room was already pre-booked!!
A nice gentleman greeted us and was able to quickly accommodate us with a nice table on the porch and turned on the over-head heaters for us, since the weather was a little chilly.
Our server, Robert was exceptional! Very kind, knowledgeable, and provided us a nice overview of the menu and specials for the evening. Even when the restaurant filled up and got busy, he was still very attentive and continued to provide excellent service.
He guided us on our wine selection and we enjoyed a bottle of the Georges Duboeuf Beaujolais Nouveau.
The food was some of the best I have had in Aiken, since moving here. Robert brought us out a couple warm Gougeres (gruyere cheese puff pastries), along with tasty freshly baked warm baguette with butter. We weren’t terribly hungry, so we started with the burrata appetizer and ended up deciding to order the linguini pasta as well.
The burrata was deliciously prepared, caprese style. I liked that they had the fresh basil poking out from under the very fresh tasting cherry tomatoes. It was topped off with a delicious balsamic reduction and lightly dressed with olive oil.
The linguini pasta made a perfect dinner, with steamed mussels in a garlic-y light but flavorful white wine sauce.
We were too full for dessert, but Robert did let us know about what they had to offer and they all sounded SO good!
Also worth noting, we had our pups with us— they offered water and brought out locally-made dog treats for them!! There were 2 treats in each pack and one of them was an Eiffel Tower. so cute!!
Over-all the atmosphere and ambience makes for a good date night spot, with lanterns, white table cloths(inside), and dim lighting. But we also saw families coming in to eat, too.
It really doesn’t feel like you’re in Aiken. It definitely gives off the vibe akin to restaurants in NYC.
We will definitely return to try their breakfast, lunch, pastries, desserts– and of course more dinner dates with wine on the porch!
Cheers to La Parisienne!

Not great. I’ve never been served ice cold eggs Benedict before (over sliced deli ham) and the French toast was also very cold and extremely underwhelming. We were beyond excited to finally try this establishment as the exterior is phenomenal but the product quality is a major miss.

La Parisienne is a true Aiken gem and is a ‘must try’ If you’re looking for fresh flavorful food, and interested in supporting small local business. This café delivers a mini vacation from the moment you walk in. Every dish features the French genius for turning simple ingredients into unforgettable moments on the plate. It all tastes like its made from scratch-and probably is. From flaky croissants, to the velvety quiche (my husband’s favorite is quiche Lorraine) to the onion soup with its rich broth, and perfectly melted cheese, the flavors are balanced and comforting. You’ll definitely be thinking about your meal fondly days (and weeks!) later. Service is attentive without rushing you, creating the perfect atmosphere to relax and enjoy. Time really does stop while you’re here so enjoy the leisurely pace. Be sure to treat yourself to the macaroons; they are bite-sized joy. One added surprise is that one of the owners took the time to teach my table how to play a French game that was located on the counter. La Parisienne is going to be your new happy place!

This is a great location to meet a friend for breakfast/lunch. I had a delicious vegetarian sandwich and she had a Benedict that looked tasty. My sandwich was fresh and unlike anything I can get elsewhere in the Augusta/Aiken area. My iced mocha was also tasty. The atmosphere is cozy with indoor and outdoor seating options. It was also pretty clean. The staff was friendly. I would absolutely go more often if I lived closer.

Pastries are a bit pricey but have been pretty good 9/10 times we have gone (once had some that were a bit over cooked). The ordered food has been excellent every time we have gone. Just breakfast so far, but excited to try dinner in the future.
The inside is nice as is the outdoor area which is very enclosed and secluded despite the proximity to the road. Food comes out quick and the decor is fun.

This restaurant has it all!! We have been twice, the second time two nights ago, and going for the third time this evening for hubby’s B-day. The food is perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. We have enjoyed salmon, mussels, and chilean sea bass – all of which were cooked to perfection. We have not found a restaurant in Aiken that can cook fish as well – fork-tender, flavorful, and appropriately seasoned – NOT salty. Sauces are informed accompaniments. The salads are very fresh with just the right amount of dressing, and the desserts are delectable!! I especially want to acknowledge Robert, who makes the experience so very special. He is not just a waiter, he is your friend and guide through an evening of fine wine and food that is authentically French. Take a trip to Paris for the evening without getting on a plane!

This was the best dinner I’ve ever eaten, plus the impeccable service from John Paul made it unforgettable and a truly delightful dining experience. This will be our go to places for special occasions.

Excellent food ranging from sandwiches, salads, quiche, pastries. So yummy! Quaint Parisienne atmosphere w/a cozy decor. Just be aware that the entrances are a bit deceiving. Seems most ppl order at the to-go counter them seat themselves. If you don’t, they may not realize you’re there so let them know. Been a couple of times & loved it

People nice and food delicious. Enjoyed the salad nicoise. Wish they didn’t have real estate advertising on the tables, but otherwise nice atmosphere.

False advertising. Despite the fact that they are a French bakery and make their own croissants- if you spend 13 dollars on a croissant sandwich they serve you it on a grocery store-bought croissant. They show pictures online of their sandwiches being served on real croissants. We asked the server if they made the croissants for the sandwiches in-house and she said they don’t. Complete false advertising. Coffee was alright. Also had the avocado toast and the one slice of the bread was stale. Service was pretty weak too. Asked for water and server never returned. Don’t bother for breakfast dine-in and skip the sandwiches. The actual pastries are pretty good though.
