Exactly what I was hoping for! We had the whole chicken as well as pork, beef, and plantain dishes with rice and beans. Gravy superb on everything. A few charming decorations, nice music, and simple tables and chairs showcase the food. We were helped in selecting the food and packing things up, but otherwise were left to enjoy our meal and conversation. If and when I’m in town again, this will be high on my list. I haven’t had enough chicken here to know if it’s the best in town, but I think it would be the best in most towns.

If you’re tired of the fast food overload in the Pocono mountains and are looking for something home-cooked and fresh- this is your spot! What a nice little surprise. I felt like I was at my grandmas house or an aunt in the Dominican Republic.
The rice and beans were fresh and authentic. We also tried the empanadas (chicken and beef) and thoroughly enjoyed them. Great variety of Dominican cuisine. Support local business and try this place out- the amount of food you get for your moneys worth is incredible.

Loved the food. Friendly service too in a relaxed atmosphere. Various curries and grilled whole chicken are all tasty, soft, and juicy.

Outstanding Domenican food in low-key, cozy, family-style atmosphere. The staff were humble and friendly. I particularly enjoyed the homemade beef empanadas. The chicharron and bistec encebollado were excellent. The tostone (fried plantains) were superb. Make sure to ask for vinegrette and “mayo/ketchup” sauce on the side. (They go with everything.) This place is a very good find.

This place is soo good, The best tasting Dominican/Spanish food I’ve ever had! I would definitely recommend the stewed chicken with rice and beans, j get it every time I go and it never disappoints in the picture that’s the small plate for $10 which is a huge steal in my book! Can’t wait to go back ; )

I was there yesterday. I don’t know why all the good reviews cause I didn’t like it at all. The food didn’t look fresh so I didn’t order any food that was displayed,my wife and a friend of ours ordered and they weren’t pleased by what they ate Ihad a meat turnover only which was very greasy which gave me indigestion later.

I am from NYC (Brooklyn) , where spanish food is on every block. Everyone has their favorite places to eat, but I recently visited La parade latina In tannersville p.a and I was blown away. This Dominican restaurant is on point. Authentic food served with love. I had the rice beans and stew pork my wife had the rotisserie chicken. Both plates were excellent . The tres leche cake was also good.
