Not typical “Mexican restaurant atmosphere.” (More like fast food/ cafeteria… but VERY reasonable prices… HUGE servings & DELICIOUS food. This will probably be our go to in Lafayette. Service was great and food came out quick and fresh. 10/10

Stopped in at La Papa Feliz on Cameron St after a long day and that plate sure hit the spot. Tacos was stuffed good, beans and rice had real flavor, not bland like some places, and everything come out hot. Folks workin there were friendly, kept my drink topped off, and didn’t mind I walked in with dusty boots. For the money I paid I walked out full and happy, I’d sure come back here again

I’ve been to both locations and the food is the same at both. The ambience is nicer at the Johnston Street location. Everything I’ve personally tried is delicious, especially the baleadas and mojarra frita. The only thing I wouldn’t recommend is the carnitas, unless you’re into lots of fat pieces in your meat. The barbacoa is excellent.

My meal was delicious . The chips and Salas was different and evenly delicious…very different from other Hondureña/ Mexican restaurants I ever tried. The host and waiter were very welcoming and sweet. Thanks for a great experience.

My first time here and the tacos was just right. I got the marinated pork and steak. It was fresh and the corn tortillas had a nice crisp. The staff is very friendly. Definitely will going back again.
