Maybe it was an off day when I went, but this place is not a 4.5 as currently rated. A solid 3 at best, food wise. We had the branzino, lasagna, and meatballs. Everything very average and lacking seasoning. Meatballs tasted cheap meat, branzino was extremely bland, and I like my lasagna better, and the bread was cold. I was lucky enough to find street parking right outside the restaurant, but do not count on that, very busy area, better to plan for the garage. It was a convenient location to have dinner before a concert at the Strathmore. Staff was friendly, however.

This has been a fav! We live in Hagerstown and were in the area. My sister wanted to go here for the Grilled Calamari. The grilled calamari was taken off the menu because it takes to long to make? The place was not packed when we arrived. A big party was seated right before us. With the empty tables, we were seated right next to them. The lady behind us was seated in the back away from us. We could hear every conversation going on with that big party. It was not their fault. I had my nut my 9 year old niece with us and they were dropping the F bomb. I should have went with an Italian dish but went with Pollo Milenesa. I was upcharged for a side of pasta which I was aware of. I had no problem paying extra but the pasta was so dry (I had to add olive oil). The only thing good was the bread, appetizers and our server. He had a full section in no time and handled it well. We never got refills on water, the runner actually took the water bottle away. Now I know why the experience was not the best. Based on comments, ownership changed since we were last here.

The food was amazing. Great flavors and portions. I highly recommend the branzino. They had live music tonight as well. Overall great experience and a wonderful way to celebrate my birthday. I’m looking forward to visiting again!

I must first admit I value a great atmosphere and service in n addition to the food for restaurants. This place has checked all the boxes. My date and I enjoyed this place which specializes in authentic Italian cuisine. Not was everything amazing the owner was very engaging. A great place and we will be back.

We went to Rome last week and tried many different restaurants. One restaurant per meal to be exact. Once we found this place, we had dinner here every single night. And the only reason why we missed lunch is because we were usually away on a tour for lunch time. The place was clean, the bathrooms were clean, the waiters were amazing. If you are ever in Rome, go to La Panetteria you wont be disappointed. I recommend the Gnocchi ai formaggio.

I came here at the recommendation of others and I mean WHAT A LET DOWN. We had to wait close to 40 minutes for our food which honestly tasted as though it had been rewarmed. We ordered the fish which was clearly not fresh, and just hard to get through. My partner ordered the pasta which I had high hopes for but also tasted like canned low quality pasta sauce and limp pasta. Even our dessert the tiramisu was left barely touched. I fail to understand still how the food did not appear fresh yet took nearly an hour. It’s sad to see a place we had high hopes for be such a let down alas, Between th bad service and the bad food, we will not be back!

Such amazing food!! Would highly recommend. There are quite a few “fusion” places that actually don’t mesh very well but this place combined the best of Italian and Argentinean cuisine! They also have a great selection of wine and the service is incredibly friendly.

Our waitress was pleasant and the atmosphere authentic. Sadly, the food was a big disappointment. The consensus from our party of five was that the food was over cooked and under seasoned. This is not the place to go when in the mood for Italian.
