If you’re craving authentic Dominican flavors with a comforting, elevated touch, this is definitely a spot worth checking out. I tried their mofongo de chicharrón y queso frito con salsa al ajillo, and honestly… it did not disappoint — it was definitely la pampara, and they really live up to the name.
They have a bunch of sauces you can pair with the mofongos, but the al ajillo was the perfect choice — buttery, garlicky, and full of flavor without overpowering the dish. The mofongo itself was moist and well seasoned, not dry at all — you could tell it was made fresh to order. And let me tell you… they’re not stingy with the toppings, a good amount of chicharrón and queso frito in every bite, como tiene que ser.
Beyond the food, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming, and the space was noticeably clean and well kept, which always makes the experience better. You can tell there’s real attention to detail — from the presentation to the overall vibe of the restaurant.
Definitely a spot I’m excited to go back to and keep exploring more of the menu. Si te gusta la buena comida dominicana, ya tú sabes… this one is worth the visit.
