Since Father’s Day of 2009 and during the peak of the recession, La Palma has been serving the Antelope Valley with our famous menudo, carnitas estillo Michoacán and chicharrones. Started by the late Armando Alonso and his brother and sisters, to this day the restaurant has the same delicious recipes served by the same family that established it.

La Palma is it! I ordered takeout for my family, and every single person was impressed—it was so good!
The flavors are rich, comforting, and absolutely worth the visit. And on top of that, the owners are some of the kindest people you’ll ever meet—so sweet and generous. They even gave us a little extra, which just shows how much they care about their customers.
Affordable, delicious, and made with heart—
La Palma is a true hidden gem.
Highly recommend supporting this amazing small business!
I ordered the huevo con chorizo bestiary player with coffee and flour tortillas. My bf ordered a carne asada burrito and some coffee. As we waited (probably about 20 minutes ) we struck up a conversation with the lady at the register, and aside from the info I stated on top, she gave us two free tacos al pastor. Since it was obvious it way out first time being there. And I’m glad that she did because aside from the great friendlyservice, I will most definitely be coming back for those tacos.
Verdict on breakfast platter: 10/10 ✔
We had the carne asada and Al Pastor. They are street sized on 2 corn tortillas, with great portions of meat, topped with onions cilantro, salsas and side of a lime. At about $1.85 a piece it’s a great value. We also ordered the OG coca cola with real sugar *note these bottles are 500ml, so share!
The location is very old, and looks more like a house, but don’t let that side track you for tacos! Plenty of parking in the lot next to it, and big yellow sign with red text you can’t miss. The lady was super friendly and helpful as well.
Definitely would stop by again in our travels!
