La Paletta was a fantastic little restaurant with an amazing vibe. When I walked in I was met with a beautiful smell from there very impressive open kitchen. We were sat near the back, there tables were small but I found it supported conversation in the smaller space.

The food was excellent we had the foie gra, and the muscles to start and they were delicious and perfectly cooked. Our mains were the seafood bisque, the pork chop, the confit duck, and the steak frits and they were all cooked to perfection, plated nicely , and seasoned beatifully. Truly a very impressive meal.

Overall the experience was fantastic and heavily supported by the friendly staff, the interesting decor, and incredle food.

Absolutely incredible experience! Their horse meat steak was cooked to perfection—so rich in flavour and unbelievably tender. The seasonal vegetables were just as impressive, fresh and bursting with taste, perfectly complementing the dish. A special shoutout to Sean, who made the evening even better with his excellent service and spot-on suggestions. His knowledge of the menu and friendly attitude truly elevated our visit. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at La Palette on Queen West. The food was outstanding – every dish was beautifully prepared and bursting with flavor. The atmosphere is cozy yet lively, with that perfect blend of charm and energy that makes you want to stay all night.

A special shoutout to the OG Connor, our server, who truly made the evening exceptional. He was friendly, knowledgeable, personable and incredibly attentive without ever feeling overbearing. His wine and pairing recommendations were spot on and really elevated the meal.

If you’re looking for an authentic, memorable dining experience in Toronto, La Palette is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be back!

I must start off by first saying, I have not had dinner In a French style restaurant, inspired or authentic in a very long time. However, the folks at La Palette ushered me back in spectacular fashion. The spot was cozy, warm, chic. I hosted my Halloween tradition there and plan to return the next time I am in toronto. The food was phenomenal, the wine selection was superb, and the desserts were perfect. The team displayed immense knowledge of their food, its pairings and combinations to enhance your experience. The vibe was very European in some essence. I had the steak fries, my fiancée had the duck confit, both dishes were tasty to the note. The steak was seasoned well and tender paired woth their in-house made butter. A solid cheat however….you must try the Malbec Cohor (Chateau Eugene), with the Ganache. Thank me later! Also Conner you rock! Sorry for calling you Sam all night, I do blame my colleagues!

Dropped in w/o a reservation on a Sat night at 6pm in early January but were accommodated much to our delight. The joint has the feel of a Paris brasserie which took me back to where I was 2 months ago. Our waiter, resembling Timothee Chalamet as Bob Dylan charmed us with his knowledge and attentiveness. I was not as thrilled with the app we shared, veal sweetbreads, and though it was nicely prepared, it wouldn’t have been my first choice, it’s pancreas after all. The stout was nice as was the red wine. My pals each had the feature pork chop which was tasty from the sample I had. I opted for the steak frites. It was seasoned and cooked to perfection, but strip loin just isn’t my favourite cut. I was hankering for something accompanied by the green Tarragon butter sauce common to what you get with Paris style steak frites. Ah well, the Calvados we drank at the end of it made it all better.

I’m from Europe, and I absolutely loved the vibe here – it genuinely felt like I was back home for an evening.
Dinner was delicious: the pâté and ratatouille were the highlights – definitely a must-try.
The beef tartare wasn’t my personal favorite, but it’s still worth ordering for the experience.
Huge thank you to Harsh for being so patient while helping me pick the right wine (I’m extremely picky).
In the end, he found something that matched exactly what I wanted – absolutely perfect.

Had dinner tonight and it was a good dining experience. I ordered the duck confit and the meat was very tender and the skin was crispy. The food came out fairly quickly and the server always kept our water refilled.

I will say the portions are on the smaller side, so be mindful while ordering and/or order some appetizers. Definitely recommend!

I had come to La Pallete in July with some friends and had a wonderful time — 5 stars! I love the atmosphere of the place so I was excited to bring some friends. Unfortunately it seemed like the place was under staffed and the service was very slow. Our appetizers were absolutely delicious but our mains took a while to come out. When the food came out my steak was really under cooked. We had another event to run to, so I did not have time to send it back. Our reservation was at 6:30 and we had to be out of there by 8:30 — so it’s too bad we had to rush and eat our mains.

I understand how busy Saturday nights can be. Compared to the amazing service I experienced in July, last night was disappointing.

Great casual French dining experience. Wasn’t too busy or long of a wait on Friday. The server absolutely made my experience memorable—I love the puns and enthusiasm!
The scallop and pate were great. Salmon was my highlight. It was perfectly crispy and not overcooked. Steak and frites were my least favorite. It definitely has that buttery taste in French cuisine, but the steak was leaning a bit more on a drier side even though we were served medium rare. Dessert was crème brûlée, which was pretty standard.

Such a genuine and authentic, not just restaurant, but experience. The atmosphere of the restaurant feels as if you had walked into a new country, the country of france. Once you arrive the waiter makes sure you are fully satisfied and goes in full detail of what you will be ordering, and the wait for the food is certainly worth it. You can watch the chefs create your meal from your table! Every single element of each and every dish has been developed with years and years of experience by the owner (i forgot his name), and he is such a cheerful and prideful guy! Such a special place where the art and culture of France is placed right in front of you.
