The menu items are limited but overall good food. I am however disappointed in the Caldo de res. A large bowl here is what it typically a small or even smaller bowl then most restaurants I’ve had caldo before. On top of that, don’t expect a variety of vegetables. It’s basically cabbage soup with a piece of carrot. The flavor is still good since they do use good beef. I was just disappointed in the overall…not enough veggies. If you prefer a cabbage soup, this is the place for you.

I’ve been ordering the same dish for over 10yrs – flautas doradas with everything separated.

Flautas plate is currently at $12. I remember when it used to be $8. It’s a nice dish i try to have every Saturday with my mom or brother.

I loooove their flautas. Always tastes fresh and great. Quick service (i order by phone and pick up).

Limited parking, not that many options on the menu, and small dine-in area.

My favorite place since I was a child. If you dine inn, you get a free soup with your order, it’s a small bowl but it’s really good and it’s fine for the size since you’re still getting your plate after. They have a menu by day but they’re main dish are the flautas de ternera. I really recommend (suaves) – to drink they have a small variety and a couple mx aguas, but I am sure you’ll find one you can enjoy. To go orders are fine but no soup- 🙁 but it’s ok- I love this place, wouldn’t call it small- but quaint hehe.

Good food, waitress wasn’t all that knowledgeable on the menu and also didn’t make us aware she was automatically adding tip even though we were paying separately. Apart from that shady side decent prices, good food and drinks.

I remember that I was like 3 years old, when my parents took me to La Paisana, that’s 54 years ago, and the taste is the same, family friendly place, owned by the same family. Now my Kids love to eat at La Paisana.

I am from out of town and my friend who is from Laredo took me there. The building had no sign ( hole in the wall ). Don’t expect a fancy place and only 3 items on the menu plus daily special. Very clean and good authentic food.
