We ended up here because the Mexican restaurant by our house was incredibly busy and we didn’t feel like waiting. We had to go to Herculaneum anyway and opted to give this place a try. We walked right in and got a table.
Our waitress took quite a few minutes to stop by the table but apologized later. Chips and salsa were fresh and able to be refilled. Chori-pollo was fantastic! The chicken soup my wife ordered (sounds weird for a Mexican place) was apparently incredible!! Our first ever tres leches cake was super tasty. I would absolutely come back here again.

My husband and I went here for lunch on a Sunday afternoon around 2:00pm. It was not crowded. The service was quick and friendly, and the food was delicious. The portions were large enough that my husband and I took half of our food home with us. The chips and salsa were quite satisfying. I do not like spicy salsa, and this had just enough heat to make it flavorful without burning my tongue.

We usually love this restaurant, but last night we ordered it through DoorDash and my chicken enchiladas tasted incredibly sour. So much so that I ended up just eating the rice and beans. I believe the cilantro was very old from how it looked. Very disappointed after spending $70 on takeout. all too often restaurants that are typically great, seem to lack quality when ordered through DoorDash.

EXCELLENT food! I’ll definitely be coming back—the prices are fantastic, especially for the quality. This may be the most reasonably priced restaurant in Jefferson County. The first batch of chips seemed a little stale, but once they brought out a fresh refill, they were perfect. Overall, a great experience!

If you want drinks with little to no alcohol, go here.. we were talked into the $30 big margarita drink to share. We didn’t want that much but the guy told us it’s cheaper if we planned to drink more than one each, so we got it. Neither of us felt like we drank a drop of alcohol. No one was trying to get drunk but come on. It was a rip off and they weren’t even good tasting. Food was average.

The food was ok and the Margaritas were fine. The atmosphere was very solid and not overwhelming. However, their customer service leaves a lot to be desired. They are open on Saturday night until 12:00 and we arrived around 9:40 PM. They appeared annoyed that we were there. We will not go back. With the multitude of restaurants in South County and Jefferson County customer services everything!

Went back today, and I must say, I’m loving the updates they are doing. The textured wood is, in my opinion, very nice. Attention to detail. Can not wait to see it finished.
I had lunch shrimp fajita. It was very flavorful and probably my new favorite dish there.

This is the worst Mexican food I’ve ever had. I’m really not a picky eater, but the chicken in my fajita tasted like it was spoiled and me and my wife both have upselt stomach. I would exercise caution before eating here.

Nothing too fancy that stood out to me, pretty similar menu to most Mexican restaurants. I did like that they put the little salsa containers on the table for you to refill the dishes on your own for the chips and salsa. I thought the salsa tasted like plain tomato sauce. The service was fine. My mom ordered the Chile Relleno and she said it tasted burnt. I enjoyed the Mexican decor in the restaurant.
