Large restaurant with a very comfortable atmosphere. Margaritas were good. I thought the food was very good, my son thought it tasted like they put everything together and microwaved it. I don’t know….i really enjoyed what I ordered. Food came very fast. Large menu.

The food is really amazing, serving amounts are quite ample. Service lacked a little, our server must have been a little tired and yawned instead of taking our orders and wasn’t very attentive until it came to the bill. Would definitely come back tho for the food!!

Delicious!! Our food arrived quick and was outstanding. We had the beef tip chimichanga & shrimp tacos, and we wouldn’t hesitate to have again. Both entrees were plentiful and priced excellent.
Staff was super friendly and very attentive. Establishment has plenty of seating with some seating available outside. There is a large bar area if you just prefer to have drinks. Overall, we were happy with our visit and we definitely recommend.

Beautiful place..
The food was amazing, and The workers were very friendly. She was able to take our order and was very professional with her service. Didn’t over-check on us like some places do it was PERFECT.
WHEN I SAY it was the BEST Mexican restaurant I’ve ate at I mean that as I had lived in Texas for 10 years and this was by far way better.
They keep just getting better and better

Everything on their menu is incredible. We eat here all the time and often try new things! We have never been disappointed! They have super fresh salsa, wonderful chips, and very large servings of incredible Mexican food!
Their recommendations never disappoint! Our favorites are the street tacos, Fajita Hawaiian, and most definitely their quesadillas!
If you are looking for a nice place to enjoy delicious food, don’t skip LaPa’s in Kirksville Missouri!

Wish I could’ve cooked my own food because I would’ve if I knew what I was getting into AND…
When walked in, one dude said something offensive to the other. Egregiously offensive; it was funny yes, about how we looked to him. Had it been communicated in English though, a fistfight would’ve ensued for certain. (Some white ppl speak Spanish)
Nobody but me in our party heard or understood the slight: I decided it wouldn’t be prudent to cause a scene and since the other guy laughed too, let it slide but I wasn’t smiling and I think dude suspected I knew what he said…
We sat an inordinate amount of time before a well meaning manager asked if anyone had served or table. It was nice to sit at a table with family, the experience here wasn’t with the wait.
The food came and Gordon Ramsey would’ve “helped them get better”. Not being mean, you started it…
Epilogue; this is why Mexican restaurants outside California should come with prop 65 warnings for cleanliness. I will FOREVER miss Carmelita’s in Victorville

Dinner was very good and plentiful. The cheese came out in a cute dish (car) – was a bit “watered down” and drinks never refilled but other than that, things were very good. We would definitely come back again.

This restaurant is an above average Mexican restaurant, and it is good for Kirksville. The bar is very nice, and they have a nice beer selection. It is a fun place to watch a game. The chips and salsa are tasty. I went there twice in one week. Both times I got enchiladas. The first time, I got the Enchiladas Verdes, and the second time I got the Pollo Enchiladas. The chicken in both was somewhat bland and lacked a lot of flavor. Also, there was too much cheese just thrown on. The refried beans and rice were both very good. Mi Casa is by far my favorite Mexican restaurant in Kirksville, but La Pa is good too!

Traditional Mexican tacos were great!!! Unfortunately taco salad shell was stale and seasoned beef definitely lacking. No sugar or sweet n low at tables. Maybe I’m getting old but dim lighting and small print on menu maybe a bad combo
