A little disappointing I ordered fish sandwhich and a few other items showed up 40 minutes later ready to eat and was told they were out. Had to make a decision on the spot for something else and settled on a chicken sandwhich which was not good. It had a rubber texture and the lettuce was old and slimy. 3 hours later it felt like the chicken was still in my throat. Also it would have been nice to recieve a courtesy call since my food was paid for online or offered something for the inconvenience ad it was getting late and had limited options if i wanted to eat somewhere else. Chances are I won’t be back i used to eat pasta from here but now im scared the quality may not be as good anymore and I dont want to waste $15 to $25 to find out

My coworkers and I order from here all the time but our last couple of orders have not been what we are used to from this pizzeria. I always get extra cheese and I don’t know what I’m paying for?! My coworker asked for no bacon which I told the lady 3 times and still her food came with bacon. What’s going on here and then the lady going to tell me I didn’t tell her that when my coworker was right in front of me when I said it to her. Instead of her being understanding of the situation she was rude. If we wasn’t so hungry I would’ve brought it back.

I love this pizza restaurant! La Ortolana pizza is just simply delicious, hands down one of the best pizza shops in the Dover Camden area! They offer great specials that help save you money during the week. There is no place else that can I get an extra large pizza for just $8.99 with one topping! The people who work there are friendly and you never wait long for pickup. This is a must pizza/ Italian restaurant to visit!

I believe it’s under new ownership. This was my favorite place to get pizza, but since my last visit not sure if I’ll be ordering from there any more. I order to large pizzas 1 extra cheese and 1 Pepperoni they were not as good as before then while waiting for order I added 2 Hippy rolls (sausage, onion and peppers) she reheated them in the microwave the were not edible went in the trash.
Customer service was okay but they really need to work on what the do and say to others when customers are present. Talking about being sick and going over to the walk when it wasn’t busy, to people ( i think she was a worker not working that day)behind the counter in stretch boot shorts her cheeks hung out the bottom, and wedged up the crack.

The staff was pretty nice and all but the food was subpar. I won’t be returning. The photo attached is what I received when I ordered a “Chicago style” pizza. I was in shock and called them telling them the issue and they said that’s what they sell it. Guy on the phone said “Yeah Chicago style, crust on the top”. I ran this passed my associates in Chicago and they all had no idea what this was. A quick Google search will tell you this isn’t Chicago style. The salad also had raw pickle in it which was weird for a Greek salad. And their regular style pizza isn’t great considering the competition they have in the area. All in all I regret my purchase and won’t ever be returning.

I always order from this place because it’s close and the foods pretty good. Today 11/5 I ordered a buffalo chicken cheesesteak and the order was wrong. I did not order pickles on a chicken cheesesteak nor did I ask for banana peppers. I asked for jalapeño peppers extra provolone, fried onions and green peppers. So a lady gets on the phone I guess she’s the owner or the head whoever and she tells me there’s nothing they can do about it because the cook wrote that on ticket and that’s what it said. I even repeated my order back to him and those items did not come out my mouth, I don’t like pickles. Which means the cook never makes a mistake and CUSTOMERS ARE NOT RIGHT at La Ortolana. After all the service I give them and as I let her know that I’m not gonna order no more from them she hangs up very rude very unprofessional you just lost a customer and I shall tell all my friends.
