Overall the food was not bad at all. I ordered three tacos, the cabeza, lengua, cachete and a chessabirria. For me personally salt is always missing when it comes to meat cuts like that but I understand why. You have to cook for the masses not for each individual person. If you want salt at salt. That being said I think the best was lacking flavor, the tortillas are hand made but very thin. By the time I got plate and fixed my tracks the tortilla was already falling apart. Overall you do get your cabeza fix, tacos are okay and if you’re really craving then it’ll do. As far as the quesabirria that ain’t it, not here at least. You’re definitely better off going elsewhere. The restaurant was very clean, not cluttered, they did have music which is okay I guess but the music was so damn loud that I wasn’t able to hear the chick taking my order. This isn’t a party or club, lower the music. Now, let’s talk prices, tacos were around 4 dollars each, yes pricy especially after what I mentioned in the beginning of the review but we have to understand, this isn’t cheap asada or adobada so I don’t mind the price at all if I’m tried to satisfy that craving. OVERALL I DO RECOMMEND.

From the moment that you walk in, you feel like you have been transported to right to Culiacan, Sinaloa. I was greeted with a smile and given excellent service by Misael. I ordered the caldo mixto that consists of lengua and cabeza. This was my first time having lengua and cabeza in caldo and it was amazing!! They serve it up with all of the fixings including a hand grinder to crush your chiltepin pepper and to top it off they serve fresh hand made tortillas. I definitely recommend this place will definitely come back.

I ordered my food from grubhub from this place for lunch. When I received my order, that I paid $18 for. It came with 5 tiny BURNT pieces chicharrons. One piece was so hard I could have chipped a tooth, another when I bit into it broke into powder. I am highly disappointed. I have to mentiin that the birria taco and guacamole was very good.

Prepare to spend a lot of money, they’re very overpriced, these prices are ridiculous. If you’re a real Mexican you’ll run as if you saw a migra truck. I don’t recommend this place if you enjoy tacos it’s extremely overpriced. Oh and one last thing the quesadillas were very soggy they instantly fell apart once you picked it up. For 3 people and 1 kid the total came out to $108.

Walked in thinking I was going to try the best cabeza de res ! Wrong ! The food was tasteless I pour both salsas and chilpetin & still no flavor ! The tortillas were horrible once you picked them up they would fall apron ! Besides that my caldo was basically that just called hardly any meat only FAT !! Service was good but the food was terrible ! & very overpriced!

Mi recomendación para quien esté considerando visitar La Original Cabeza de Res es sencilla: confirme antes de ir si ese día realmente habrá atención, disposición y calidad, porque la experiencia que se vive en el lugar no coincide con la imagen que proyectan en línea.

Llama la atención la cantidad de reseñas de cinco estrellas que circulan, ya que no reflejan el servicio, la actitud del personal ni la calidad de la comida que uno encuentra al llegar. En lugar de atender las observaciones genuinas de clientes reales —que invierten tiempo y dinero—, parece haber un mayor interés en sostener una reputación digital artificial, antes que en mejorar lo verdaderamente importante.

El servicio carece de seguimiento y calidez, la atención es irregular y la comida, lamentablemente, no justifica la expectativa creada. Lo más preocupante no es el error, sino la falta de autocrítica y corrección, pues las mismas observaciones se repiten una y otra vez sin que exista una mejora visible.

Este es uno de esos casos en los que una disculpa pública y un compromiso real con la calidad serían un mejor punto de partida que seguir acumulando calificaciones que no se sostienen en la experiencia.

La reputación no se compra.
