The place is in a gas station which should’ve been my first warning but I was hungry and we hadn’t ate all day. We got a birria taco, tamales (chicken), and some steak and carnitas tacos along with an horchata. The horchatas are flavorless. Rice and water. No sweet.
The birria tacos? Decent. Filled with meat and cheese, cilantro and onions. The salsas? Terrible. None of them were barely hot and had little flavor.
The carnitas tacos? Flavorless. I tasted the meat by itself and it was bland. The steak tacos were just as bland.
Tamales were big in size and had decent flavor but as someone who grew up on the west side of Chicago with tons of Mexican food? This isn’t it. I would never come here again for gas station Mexican food because that’s exactly what it tastes like.

Walked in for a quick snack while filling my gas at what I believed to be just a gas station and was caught by the wonderful smell of steak on the grill. I walked back outside just to move my car from the pump so I could get some tacos! Many menu items to choose from but the steak smelled so good. Very glad I decided to stop in. Great authentic tacos, nice clean tables, big sauce bottles for you to use as much or as little as youd like. Even a tv to watch. Dont miss your opportunity to try this place!

You people are some non tastebud having reviewers. Had a taste for tacos this is up the road based upon the reviews I decided to try it out. Tacos and tortas cold from the start. It made no sense I ate them in the parking lot. The bread wasn’t toasted the sour cream was sugary no idea why and the meat about as bland as Kathy’s chicken. The salsas were good. It’s called Plainfield for a reason. No flavor around these parts

Had the breakfast torta with steak, potatoes, cheese, and egg. It was great! Super fast service and well-priced. I love supporting local small businesses and when the food is this good it’s win-win.
Can’t wait to explore the rest of the menu! The place was busy with locals fueling up before going out to work. Seems legit!

This place is in a gas station, so I had pretty low expectations. Don’t judge a book by it’s cover. The tacos were excellent and the service was good and fast too. There are a only a couple tables inside the gas station, but it was clean. I’m going to come back and try the flautas and the burritos. They are worth the repeat business. We were there mid afternoon, so not the lunch rush at all; there were customers ordering the entire time we dinned.

The food was so good! I ordered the steak bowl and rice dinner. Towards the end of the burrito I did receive a really tough piece of steak. I do also feel like the rice was lacking in flavor other than that everything was great the service was minimum and I feel like they could’ve done a bit better.

Delicious food you don’t expect coming out of a gas station. Lots of flavors, fast and plenty to choose from. A couple of tables available if you choose to sit inside and eat.

Went to cash in some scratchies and got back in the car. Noticed that there were customers coming and going. Decided to check it out. Food was good and both red and green salsas were tasty. Not too shabby of a spot.

First time ordering, will definitely be back. Ordered steak and beef tacos, chicken flautas and pork tamales. Everything was well seasoned and filed to the brim. New favorite place.
