Decided to pop in real quick and check it out while my wife is next-door getting a tattoo. Went with the ground beef empanada, and it was one of the best things I’ve ever had. The staff is super friendly. I will definitely come back if I’m in the area.

It is our first time at La Nota, it won’t be our last. Everything we had was fresh and delicious. The service was great. We ended our meal with the caramel cake and ate it so fast I didn’t get a picture of it. We highly recommend La Nota!

Was visiting Jacksonville Beach by way of Atlanta for the holidays and Googled restaurants near me and saw the reviews and photos. It was Labor Day when most American based businesses were closed and I love trying new International restaurants and it was extremely fresh and tasty. I would recommend!

Amazing, authentic Venezuelan and Latin cuisine. The staff is great including the owner who takes great care of her restaurant. Had the empanadas, tequeños, soup (sancocho) and the carne machada arepa – which was enormous and delicious. Everything was delicious actually! No complaints. Highly recommend!

Today I went to lunch with my spouse at this Venezuelan restaurant. Our server was excellent very kind, proactive, and attentive. The food was very good. It is slightly overpriced, but that’s common for Venezuelan cuisine.

Everything was fine until I decided to change my drink order. I had asked for a guanábana juice, but by mistake the server brought me passion fruit juice. I only noticed after the first sip because the cup was white and I couldn’t see the color of the drink.

I politely mentioned the mistake to another server, a white middle-aged woman and her response was very rude. She just said, “But you already drank it,” with a bad attitude. Fortunately, the original server (the nice one) offered to bring the correct juice, but at that point I was upset by how I was treated and decided to keep the drink to avoid causing more trouble to the nice server (something restaurant charger to servers).

In summary it was very good food, but an unpleasant customer service moment ruined the experience. I always try to be polite, and I explained the situation calmly, so I was disappointed by the attitude I received.

The food is amazing. My wife and I were able visit Colombia over the holiday and felt like we were transported back to a roadside family owned restaurant when enjoying the sancocho. The server Maria was wonderful as well.
