So glad to have proper Mexican food in the area! The meats are all very flavorful — especially the all the braised, chopped meats are just so wonderfully juicy and meaty (e.g. birria, green pork, chicharron). And the tortillas are great! I got the birria with flour but the parradilla came with corn…and I enjoyed the corn ones even though I don’t normally care for corn tortillas!
I desperately now need to try every single one of their meats. I suppose tacos are the fastest way to achieve that but damnit that torta looks real good too. Very friendly owners. Highly recommend!

Let me just say La Norteña did not disappoint and we will definitely be going back. I ordered the Paquete Birrias with corn tortillas. A crispy pan-fried beef (aguja Norteña) and cheese taco with white onions, cilantro, and a side of consomé beef broth. Think French dip meets gourmet street taco. My friend went for the Mexican Shrimp Cocktail which was so big it required 2 pint-sized containers. Given that my friend is actually from Mexico, he said it was the best and most authentic he’s had in the states. Impressive! We also ordered Guacamole and chips which apparently they make fresh to-order, and you can definitely tell. I can’t wait to go back and try some of their other dishes, they all look delicious!

Best damn tacos ive had here and ive had a lot of tacos. Pork and morito sauce, go for it! New for me and a revelation. Also the roasted peppers in creamy sauce was the best veg taco ive had. there arent always good veg options. plus look at those impeccable vibes. honestly beats the 28$ tacos ive had at trendy Suerte

On a whim my daughter and I stopped here to grab lunch. We leave near Hamilton Pool Road. The owner was immediately friendly and answered all of our questions. I was having a hard time deciding so he threw in a free Taco de Burria. I also ordered a shrimp taco, grilled chicken torta and a steak taco. Every single thing we ate was full of flavor, tender and just delicious! As we were checking out he let us try the Puerco de salsa verde. He had not added the salsa verde yet so we only tried the meat. It was tender and almost buttery because it was rendered so nicely. Hands down this is a place to try! Prices seem somewhat reasonable. $4 for a taco is a little on the high side, but the food is so good and based on how satisfied everyone was, it feels worth it.

The food was so amazing ! And the service was just as amazing ! I have lived in Texas for some time and have been trying so hard to find good authentic Mexican food and this place just changed that for me !! I now found my favorite taco truck here . He was so nice! and even gave us samples of some other stuff on the menu and everything tasted so good and fresh . He went above and beyond with his service. This place is a must !!!

Wooooow! Mind-blowing. The chicharron prensado tacos are absolutely amazing. The flavor is unreal. I tried bunch of places here in Austin but this must be my favorite stand so far. Also tried barbacoa and puerco en salsa verde tacos. Both great, but my new favorite is chicharron prensado. I would give them 10 stars if possible. Thank you. I will come again for sure. Hungry for more.

This place has BEST MEXICAN food you can get in Austin. SHRIMP COCKTAIL was a big hit. Fresh food, authentic flavors. Quesadilla Jumbo Was delicious. My husband loved their tacos. They also have a smoothie truck. Perfect for this Texas heat. Fresh fruits and ice cream. Perfect presentation and great customer service by owners. Bring your kids for delicious treat. This truck is a must try!
