If you want good mexican food go to Pepes in Di’berville.

This place has gone down hill, quickly. Me and my husband have lived right nexdoor for the past 9 years and order from here quite often. Needless to say they lost us as loyal customers today.

Recently they have increased their prices and have decreased in the quality of food that they serve. They are turning into a tourist trap. This is the burrito I received and for what i paid absolutely not. I have ordered it many times, they just have been getting worse over time. This is what i was given, and it was my final straw. Im done giving them my business.

Only in the area for a short time and I am ecstatic I found this place early. Michelada was large, well seasoned and delicious. Burritos was full, heavy on ingredients in the right ratio and was excellent.

Connected to a small store with all kinds of good snack and treats.

Overall great spot for some very authentic Mexican food. Will be visiting again.

I’ve spent a great deal of time in many regions of Mexico. I think that the food in this establishment was fairly authentic to true street tacos, although I felt that the portions were too small to say the least. Very small portions. I was charged a $1.50 take out fee for two small Styrofoam boxes and literally one small paper napkin. We won’t be back ! I understand that food prices are up, but their portion sizes are ridiculous ! That combined with one single thin paper napkin and a greedy $1.50 take out charge was enough for me. Much better places in town than this place. How can you enjoy a street taco with an ounce of meat on it ? I ate three corn tortillas with a pinch of carne asada….. Very disappointed !

The tacos here are pretty good. I purchased the asada (steak) and the pollo (chicken). I also purchased a horchata. I was somewhat skeptical about the chicken because it was yellow in color, thought it was eggs at first , plus I assumed that it would be shredded chicken. No need for concerns though because it was delicious as well as the steak. Both were flavorful and tender. The meal came with the usual: onion, cilantro, green/red sauces, limes, and grilled onions. Now, the grilled onions were new for me on tacos, but I love onions, so it only made them better.

I haven’t had tacos in a while, so I was looking for a to go spot for whenever the mood arises. This place has made the list. A let down for me; however, was the beverage, the horchata. It was a lil dark in color and tasted a lil watered down. I do plan to go back and try other options. When I arrived to pick up my order, I saw that they had birria tacos (for the day) along with other items, so I’ll definitely be back to try those. There’s also a store attached to the restaurant, which I plan to check out as well.

*total was about $14 and some change.

The parking lot could use some work, though, went down a few spots before parking.

I wanted to have my tamales heated because they started putting them in water in a crock pot. The outside is hot but not the food itself. She wouldn’t do it! Been going there for at least 6 months. When I first started they were heating them in the microwave. Very sad they’ve lost my business

Hm… The picture I post with this review is “huevos rancheros”… yeah right.
Beans and rice tasted weird and the rice was dry. The only saving grace was my husband’s small tacos he had. I wouldn’t really recommend this restaurant. There are better places that offer better and larger portions for the price we paid. 🙁

It’s an authentic Mexican storefront restaurant!
Their food is very good!
And you may get anything prepared with Lengua or any of their many protein options.
I can’t wait to go back!

The food was great! Authentic as you can get in Biloxi. The service took longer than expected but the food kind of makes up for that. The restaurant is half restaurant half convenience store. The entire place has some age on it and could use renovation. Again, the food was pretty good.

I will no longer be eating at this establishment because there was a cooked termite in my food . I let them know & they would not issue a refund. I’m not even upset about the refund honestly , just more disgusted & feel sick more than anything ! Eat at your own risk
