So fresh and they’re so nice!! When my husband and I went, we were given very generous samples of the agua frescas and ice cream! Best elotes I’ve had in the OKC area and everything is so fresh and delicious. Definitely will be coming back 🙂

Morenita translates to ‘The Little Brown Woman’, with a nod to the Virgen Guadalupe, is operated by a couple…. They actually offer a variety of fresh fruit based compotes and salads. There are also other trendy items both food, drinks and popsicles or ice cream which are all prepared Mexican street food style. This are doesn’t have anything like this, as many neighbors are fast food chains. This shop is clean and has indoor seating or to go. The menu is rather large, is not just sweets. It’s on the way to or from multiple schools, churches and the Village Library, the Post Office, El Patron grocer and a couple of popular kid parks.

Always good to have a place not too far away from Edmond to get me an elote de vaso. Which is good by the way. I think the atmosphere could be a bit better. It just doesn’t feel welcoming to want to eat there.

Went in for the first time tonight and definitely wasn’t disappointed!!! They had the most delicious Al pastor gorditas! We will be back for sure! Little guy was completely impressed with his quesadilla and his chocomile.

I ordered the Elote en Vaso (corn in cup) which was delicious while my friend went for the Fresas en Cremas which were as delicious!
