Worked all morning with empty stomach, my brother said trust me and brought me here. WOW, the food is so delicious I started drooling while eating. Everything was fresh and hot. Atmosphere is very welcoming, our waitress was a sweet and kind lady who made sure we were taken care of, I’d give this place a 9.5/10!!!

La morenita has replaced Johnny’s and unfortunately the service is lacking. I ordered caldo de res. I got a steak plate, not soup. Not sure what I got but it was OK. The charro beans were fantastic. The steak was really really tough. The drinks were good and the staff was friendly but I was really excited to get soup.

Queso was very good might try adding some meat next time.
Pastor tacos were excellent, great flavor, good portion.
Chicken in the enchiladas was a little dry but the sauce was awesome.
Overall solid Mexican, not too fancy, I’d come back.

It’s taken me a while to write this, as I’m still gagging over my experience from two Friday nights ago. Walking into the establishment, an overwhelming smell of cleaning products hit my nose as I walked in. The restaurant had karaoke going on that was extremely loud and awful.
Our group ordered food and everything that came out was overly salted or not salted at all.
We’ve all been to many Mexican restaurants in the area and this is the first one that has ever been like this.
Safe to say, we won’t be coming back.

This was the spot to be for dinner tonight! Veggie enchiladas hit the spot. They had sautéed mixed vegetables topped with cream avocado sauce. It was served with rice and beans. When I got it, I mixed the rice and beans together, and it was phenomenal!
I was the only person at the table that got a veggie meal. There was also Menudo, tortilla soup, Cheese enchiladas, and brisket tacos.
Just to be honest, the strawberry margarita with sugar on the rim is phenomenal! It was one of those days where I just needed a margarita to go with my dinner 🙂

The food is absolutely fantastic. We stumbled in and were blown away. Suuuuuper affordable. We went 2 days in a row. Fajitas and enchiladas were rad. Little language barrier. Nothing we couldn’t work around. We just relocated from Houston where you are surrounded by Tex-Mex restaurants. I feel like this may be our new place. Well done!!!

We went as a family on Friday night. The staff was friendly, but other than that it was not that great an experience. The dj was playing karaoke but it was so loud. The waitress couldn’t hear our order and we couldn’t talk to our family. When the food came out, it was either too salty or no salt. Maybe it was just a one time experience, but it’ll be awhile before we go back

Where is a 6th Star when you need one! Seriously one of my favorite restaurants! EVERY time we come the food is amazing no matter the time of day or the day of the week!
It’s cooked fresh, served hot, and so flavorful you do a little dance with every bite! My favorite is the salmon with mushrooms & vegetables. Normally I don’t like paying for salmon at restaurants because it’s often over priced, but this baby is worth every penny! The veggies are cooked to perfection and seasoned just right. The salmon is cooked to a nice flaky finish and the sauce they serve with it is unlike anything I’ve ever had. I could eat the veggies & that sauce ONLY and still feel like I got my money’s worth.

We visit Jhonny’s when we are in the area. We always get the fajita combo, beef, chicken, and shirmp. Of course, gotta have sangria marg with tajin rim. And don’t forget an extra side of potatoes!!
