I am an Amazon delivery driver, and very often we have to look for a restroom during our routes. I was wearing my Amazon vest, looked neat and professional, and certainly did not look like a random person off the street. I politely asked if I could use the restroom, and the lady replied, “Only for customers.” I explained again that I am a delivery driver and really needed to use the restroom, but she repeated that it was not allowed.
You know, first of all, you should be human before hiding behind rules. I do not recommend this roadside diner. You’re better off stopping at a gas station to eat.

I ended up going into La Mixteca for a small meal before work as a delivery driver. It opens at 9am. As any business that immediately opens at 7-9am. They are just finishing food prep so PLEASE BE PATIENT!! The lady at the counter is bilingual. She speaks espanol and English. Use a translator or AI chat bot to help you order if you do not speak those two languages. I got a trio meat breakfast burrito and 2 tacos, plus my 15% tip. See pictures.

Delicious!!! Best Mexican food in the area thus far. Got asada nachos, supreme burrito, and menudo. The sauces were delicious, as well as the chili oil which was super spicy and the perfect kick to the menudo. Highly recommend, already ordered 2 more times from the place. And great value for cost. We tried the asada, carnitas and al pastor. All three were incredibly flavorful. If I had to choose, the carnitas were the best.
The guacamole was also very good. I do wish the chips were a little thinner and greasier, but that’s just me!
There’s a fresh salsa cart with three salsas, radishes and the spicy carrot mix.
The service was friendly and fast.

Very clean inside they have some authentic unique dishes that I definitely have to come back for like the chicken mole. The condiments cart looks awesome and freshly done.

Update tried to get quesabirria tacoas traditional birrias is made with goat and yet they don’thave quesabirria with it just regular beef made no sense yhey have the ability to make them but no luck so drove a block away and got what i wanted. Good food still

This is a good place to stop for a quick eat. For the price paid, the food is decent. The mole sauce was just ok, but honestly, what I’d expect from a quick little diner like this. Price comparative to Don Ladis, but much better in quality and taste. Would recommend.
