This is a very Cozy little place. They have quite a selection of things. Personally, love the Al Pastor Huarache. After dinner, we also indulged in their sweets. Fresh made cheesecake and Oreo dessert. So many wonderful things that there is too many to name. Give this place a shot….You’ll thank me later.

Terrible service. I was asked which I wanted, guac or a cheese sauce with my meal. I thought that was what they were giving for the chips. Not a $6 surprise for a little cup of cheese. She said the best dish on the menu was a steak, except it wasn’t served for 2 hours. I asked for a refill, she went to get it, came back a few minutes later for her 1 other table with their drinks. A few minutes later she got mine.
I ended up getting tacos with some juice which I wasn’t sure what was for and some rice and beans. The beans were generic beans but the rice was a bit dry and hard.
The biggest issue were my dinner companions. I had a handful of flies bugging me while I was there. I know you can’t stop flies from coming in, but I counted 5 at one time.

We stopped here looking for a late lunch, got the tacos and shared the beef, chicken, and the chorizo. The chicken tacos stole the show. It was a nice flavor a bit smoky too. It goes great with the red sauce. We also got two horchatas and it’s the best I’ve had in over 10 years. We enjoyed it so much I forgot to take photos.

This place is delicious, don’t let the unassuming store front fool you. Top notch Mexican bakery, resturant and with a wide selection of ice creams. You couldn’t ask for nicer services. Absolutely worth a trip to Denison, IA.

Delicious food! We stopped in and had no idea what to try. I went with some delicious brilla tacos and my wife had shrimp tacos. Everything was amazing. I loved that we could leave with some fun candy and items for our kiddos.

While the presentation was nice, the food served to us was luke warm at best. I asked for a chicken burrito and I received a ground up steak burrito. When I questioned my meal, her response was, sor-ry.
My husband had a pork burrito and it was overly done, like burnt kibbles and bits. There was no hot sauce on the table, we got up to locate some. We were not pleased and we certainly will not return.

I had 6 tacos and ice cream on my lunch break @ La Michoacana KD:Everything was delicious!!!The prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is unlike anything you’ll find in Denison.The young ladies who helped me were polite & friendly.They speak English if you don’t speak Spanish.I will definitely be bringing my family here❤️
