I decided to give it another try, and the rum raisin has raisins again. We hope that they keep paying attention to the quality of their ice cream. So many different flavors to enjoy.

I really wanted to like this place. Came in after work for some dessert, and wasn’t even greeted. Horrible customer service, I wanted to try maybe one or two flavors and the girl looked annoyed that I asked and didn’t know what I wanted. I felt uncomfortable and I just wanted to leave, so I picked a simple popsicle. The popsicle was old and full of ice on the sides. If this place doesn’t retrain their staff or get new workers it won’t be doing as good as it could. I used to work at an ice cream shop myself, it’s not a particularly hard job, the least you could do is greet and treat customers in a friendly way. Plenty of people can take this position and do a much better job.

They have excellent customer service. It’s always clean. While I’ve never had the need to use the toilet there, it would be nice to have a sink to wash your hands before eating. We grab keys and pay with money so yeah, that would be nice. Other than that the quality of the snacks here are perfection.

Awful place. First off, the servers were all uptight and had an attitude. Second of all, when I asked for “Cueritos en baso,” she looked at me weird and went to go ask a superior. She whisper “well it’s because I thought it was super weird.” When I was served, I got it, and well, getting back home, I realized she didn’t put the lime juice I asked for. I wish I could just be mad at the experience, but the ice cream was also a letdown. It was all sugar and no cream. It was so sweet that I physically could not eat it. Honestly, the amount of sugar drowned the faint flavor of eggnog. Would not recommend.

I’m so glad there are Michoacáns opening around town, and the microbrewery wave has finally subsided. I discovered “mamet” flavored paletas years ago and for a while the store bought “Mexicana” brand was my favorite. The ones they make here at this Michoacána set the standard and are my new favorite. Overall everything they make is clearly a labor of love and a work of creativity. I hope this place stays open forever. Seriously this is so close to my place and it’s great because they have the best I’ve cream I’ve ever tasted. I just wish they made their logo into a sticker and a t shirt so I could rep them on my water bottle or something. Please make it happen if you are the owner and reading this!

My family and I go here at least once a week during the summer because it’s refreshing and delicious. The staff is friendly and the place is always clean. You can even sit there with your family.

A great place to stop after school with the kids!
They have a big variety of ice creams , they have a ton of snacks like tostillocos and potatoe chips from Mexico.
My husband likes their chamango, and i enjoy their Fresca con creama.

Tons of flavors. Shakes, cones, banana splits, fruit of every imaginable flavor made into frozen treats. Very reasonably priced, friendly service. I highly recommend La Michoacana ice cream!
