Went in for the famous agua de frutas and was highly disappointed. Too much for coloring not enough flavor. For the price it was you’ll think it’ll have a lot more fruit in it. Service was not that good as well gave the same face the lady welcomed me with and she did not like it . Please do better people

Heard about this place from someone else and decided to try it. It did not disappoint. Immediately upon walking i was overwhelmed by the sheer massiveness of the place and then amount of options to choose from. I ordered a 1 scoop strawberry cone and it was MASSIVE I couldn’t believe it was just one scoop. The person i was with got the chocolate banana they said it was very good. Then i decided to order one of their fruit bars I decided to go with the strawberry flavor being i love strawberry ice cream. i was slightly disappointed by this as it was less flavorful than i was expecting but i believe thats because i got one with milk rather then just a regular one. Overall the place was very good i highly recommend it to anyone on the area looking for a sweet treat!

Wow … everything is delicious!! I got the water based strawberry dessert!! Husband got cookie dough ice cream and said it was one of the best he ever had.. service was great, highly recommend!! Loved this cute photo opp area!! We will be back!!

Always flavorful and fun. I love how they have classic ice cream flavors and unique flavors for those that enjoy trying something new. I tried their queso (cheese) flavored ice cream it was amazing..

This place stands out from other michocana’s because of two things: one. fast service because there are many servers and two, exceptionally well done preparation.
We came here for tostilocos and we had dietary restrictions. We did not want pork. The server understood our needs and have a delicious preparation that has ample condiments. We had the corn, mangonada, one scoop ice cream on a cone with sprinkles ( this type of cone is less common), and a Ferraro Rocha paletta.
There was ample seating. The place is clean. There is limited parking but we did not have issues gettingu parking.

Extremely disappointing experience. I visited La Michoacana Classic hoping for a fun treat and some good ice cream, but unfortunately, it turned out to be one of the worst customer experiences I’ve had in a long time. The ice cream itself tasted off — the flavor was strange, and the texture didn’t seem right at all. When we politely mentioned our concern to the staff, instead of listening or offering to fix the issue, they were incredibly rude and dismissive.
They acted like we were bothering them for simply bringing up an honest concern. Rather than apologizing or checking the product, they told us to leave the store. I was honestly stunned by how unprofessional and disrespectful their response was. Mistakes happen, but the way a business handles them says a lot — and this place clearly doesn’t care about its customers.
If you’re looking for good ice cream and friendly service, I would highly recommend going somewhere else. There are plenty of other shops that actually appreciate their customers and take pride in what they serve. Save your time and money — La Michoacana Classic is definitely not worth it.

The ice cream is good. The prices and service are terrible. I REPEAT..TERRIBLE!! How does one work in an ice cream shop and not know what a waffle cone is? Ah…you come here to find out! Elotes have been dry and seem old. Seems the busier the shop is …the busier they interact with each other in hopes the long line will dissappear. If it’s busy they shouldn’t be gossiping with one another and taking their time to give you your items..must be why my elotes were missing mayo, they got lost in their conversation. They will over charge you and even if you check they say that’s the price when being charged for the same thing prior for a different price. Most employees have a horrible attitude. Service and prices are a terrible issue at this location. Prices should be posted so customers know exactly what they are paying for. They should also consider having employees who can speak proper English. I’m not racist, but, how is it I’ve never seen anyone work here other than of Hispanic heritage? Makes one wonder seems discriminatory. They need to do better!

Came here to get an elote and ended up getting elote that tasted sour also dry and the two workers were giving attitude once i said it was sour and said it wasn’t. also 6$ for an elote when 26th and pulaski has it for 3-4$ fresh and with chicken they need to fix they’re prices if they want to keep up with the real competition.
