Best Mexican food in Grand island!! I had the combo plate with chile relleno , tamales, and an enchilada. It was the best chile relleno I’ve had ever!! So good and they have some really good salsas at the salsa bar. 10/10 recommend the tacos de cabeza are also really good

My husband and I stopped in Grand Island, NE, as our ‘half way point’ between Minnesota and Colorado road trip and found this great little restaurant. We ordered the chimichanga (pork carnitas) and burrito (chicken) at the counter and they called our number when it was ready. The beans were the best we have ever had and the food was AMAZING. Plus, there is a salsa bar (different types of salsa, pico, limes, etc.) and freshly made tortilla chips. Their ‘chip salsa’ (labeled that way at the bar) and pico was seriously so good. They were definitely fresh and you can enjoy as much, or as little, as you like!

I came across this place in November 2021, by Google search. It’s my second time here. It’s very delicious. My husband loves it as well. There tamales are delicious and a great size but I would like more meat filling to masa, since the masa is so thick and little bit of meat.
Our 15 month old is barley eating table food and he loves the beans.. which they are delicious! Portions are big and I’m always full and have leftovers which I love.

Worst Mexican food I’ve ever ate I got some tamales and caldo de res and the tamales were pure masa I opened them up and had a couple strings of meat and the caldo full of grease had me throwing up all night definitely need to do better

So delicious and large portions for the price. The guy who took our order was so nice and patient with us as it was our first time. The chip salsa is phenomenal. The green salsa is good too. I will be back EVERY time I come to Grand Island. I might even make a special trip for this food. And there’s a condiment bar with salsas, chopped vegetables, anything you might like on your plate.

Some of the best Mexican food in town. Been coming here since I was a kid. The food never disappoints always hot and delicious. They got the best al pastor meat in Grand island and I’ve tried plenty of other places here in town and none of them compare.
