I feel like this place is such a sleeper restaurant. It has the most flavorful chicken fajita nachos probably anywhere. Yum yum come get you sum.

The owner needs a reality check. The place is dirty in desperate need of an upgrade. Seats (booth) were ripped and covered with tape, carpet has its own color of filth, waiters don’t have a clean professional uniform, chips ware stale, my margarita was watered down, tasted like a flat old watered down lemonade, and to top it all off my husband’s beer was WARM !! This was my first time in this place and absolutely my last ! How do they expect to attract new customers and want people to come back!? Please save yourself a trip and money because this is not your money’s worth.

La mesa is one of the favorite tex-mex food. I’ve gone since I was a little girl. The food and alcohol beverages are still amazing. I love the servers that they bring. Last time I was there I had Lizset as a server and she was pure amazing and never left my drink empty. I love having a server that enjoys their job. Go see her and she will take care of you.

This has got to be some of the worst Mexican food I have tried in this area.
Chips we super stale and of a cheap store brand.
Salsa tasted like Pace Picante mixed with Old El Paso Red Enchilada sauce
We ordered the Mesa Especial Fajita Dinner, beef and chicken combo
The chicken was that pre-made prepackaged kind from Walmart. I could taste the liquid smoke flavor that those kind have.
Who knows what happened to the beef, it was so over done and dry that it was powdery.
The onions and peppers we ok but they were ruined by canned mushrooms. This whole mess was topped with an unknown white cheese and “taco seasoning”, not mixed in, just sitting on top.
The rice was crunchy and tasted like cumin and tomatoe, nothing else.
The beans, how could you mess up canned beans so badly, they were dry with some weird cheeder cheese on top.
Oh let’s not forget what they called Guacamole which was just mashed up advocado that had the weird after taste you can get from those pre-made kind from Walmart.
I should have known better when we walked in and they were playing pop music.
We tried it and it sucked

Bailey was fantastic! She was warm, welcoming, and on top of everything from start to finish. Our drinks stayed full, our food came out fast, and she checked in just the right amount. You can really feel her positive energy and how much she cares about giving great service. Highly recommend asking for Bailey she’ll make your visit even better!

Greeted at the door as soon as we walked in. Lizset was our waitress and was great! Super nice and polite and didn’t forget anything or miss anything at all! Food was also great, I had the enchiladas. Will come back!

This sucked. I didn’t care for the experience. They would not let us space out the chairs so I was stuck. And constantly had to move for the waitress to come in between. Than I was gonna give a tip in cash. But some how they put a tip on their automatically without let me knowing until I looked at it again afterwards. So really just an annoyed experience all around. Waitress was great and food was great just those things bothered me

Great food and atmosphere! My family always enjoys La Mesa! Bailey was our waitress this time. She was very sufficient and friendly! Very deserving of a positive review. Great job!

Literally the worst chile relleno I’ve ever had..and it wasn’t the right kind of pepper. Corn tortillas were dry in the enchiladas they were breaking apart. Please go somewhere else for better Mexican food.

Ask for Jeremy. Foods good for cheap Tex Mex. Fajitas are not that good but mostly they have food that’s edible and will fill you up. Ps, if you drink, don’t forget that I already told you to ask for Jeremy as your server. He’s the best.
