La Mayorita did not disappoint. We ordered the skirt steak and a breakfast plate, and both were seriously good. The skirt steak was juicy, full of flavor, and cooked exactly how we wanted it. The breakfast was fresh, comforting, and hit the spot.
The service was just as great as the food. Everyone was welcoming, attentive, and made us feel right at home without being overbearing.
It’s always refreshing to find a place where both the food and service are consistently on point. We’ll definitely be back.

The aesthetic of the restaurant is beautiful, and the place was very clean—even the bathrooms—which is great considering it has more of a bar/lounge vibe.

That said, the menu is extremely pricey. Most of the drinks are $22+… even the most basic drink felt overpriced. I can understand spending a little extra when you want to unwind and disconnect, especially if you have the budget for it, so I tried to look past that.
However, the staff’s attitude really outweighed everything else. The wait time wasn’t an issue, but the servers came across as very rude and unprofessional.
One server working there also behaved in a way that felt inappropriate.
If this business wants to succeed, they really need to change their overall approach to customer service. I promise there are much better spots in Clifton than this.

I did not pick this place (I usually base my picks based off the Google review rating but I’m glad someone else picked this place). Best calamari I’ve had in a while. Worth going back just for this dish. Great music and staff was nice with taking a request. Drinks were delicious. Wish we could of gone another day or even a weekend. It was slow during the week but still a nice place and great food and music overall. Drinks are pricy but very esthetic.

The place is very tight. It seems as though they have too many tables in the place and you cannot back out of your seat without hitting the person behind you. All the waiters, waitresses and staff only speak Spanish, after trying to translate for my friends you still can’t hear the waitress because the music is SO LOUD!!! The waitress attended us with an attitude due to language barrier. The Only English speakers are the bouncers checking you in. This is not a family restaurant they treat it like a club!! The table next to us were so drunk at 9pm the ladies kept dancing and bending over flashing their underwear. I felt bad for the parents at the other end that had their kids eating at their table. Food is good but extremely expensive . A simple drink costs $20 and for mixed drinks in a flashy cup just short under $50. The parking around this area is horrendous. Stay away from here. There are better places to spend your money at.

Server was acting like she was forced to cover someone’s shift cause she apparently didn’t want to be there.
She was talking over my food and serving over me instead of going around to the people on the other side of the table. The other women walked around with gas faces.

The soup was good but, the fish was fried way too hard I couldn’t even eat it! Rice was under cooked! The fried pork was really good though!

I went to celebrate my birthday at this place and everything was okay, but what was really unpleasant was that they charged me $40 for bringing the cake to the table and singing “Happy Birthday” (I brought the cake myself), a service I didn’t ask for. I think it’s outrageous and customers should be informed about this.

Yesterday we visited La Mayoría.
The cocktails were incredibly delicious — full of flavor and beautifully presented. Unfortunately, the hookah was a big disappointment: almost no flavor and a strong bitterness that made it unpleasant to smoke.
Overall, we enjoyed the drinks, but the hookah definitely needs improvement.

It was my first time here celebrating a birthday and I was impressed by the beautiful decor. Great for photos and the patio was even more beautiful with its cozy vibe. Now the DJ was amazing, the service exceptional and food delicious. I would definitely come back.

I’d say this is a hidden gem. The food and service was amazing! Great music was playing and there was a decent amount of people for a Saturday night. I’d say the drinks menu should have pricing listed. I ordered a margarita and the glass was small and costed $20. I do recommend this restaurant for good vibes and great food.

The service was awful from the moment we arrived. Staff were slow, inattentive, and made us feel like an inconvenience rather than customers. When we tried to address the issue, the manager was rude and dismissive, showing no interest in resolving the problem or even listening. Overall, the lack of basic courtesy and professionalism completely ruined the experience. I won’t be returning.
