The best dinner we had in telluride – food & experience. I’ll be thinking about that risotto for a long time! Everyone at our table loved their three courses, we all got different things. The server was kind & attentive, he made being gluten free very easy (thank you Chef too). The menu this season was very fun & there’s definitely a dish for everyone, even had vegan/veg options. Accommodated food restrictions with ease, the pace of the three courses was perfect, service was kind & atmosphere lovely! We’ll be back! The photo is the riz et pois entree – wild mushroom risotto

Food was absolutely delicious and worth the price, which was very reasonable in my opinion! The Riz et Pois was simply phenomenal. Great atmosphere, great service. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Telluride who loves good food.

Wow!! We were blown away by our dinner at La Marmotte. The restaurant was so welcoming and well designed. It felt so cozy. The service was also exceptional and made us so excited about our dining experience. The food and drinks were beyond compare. I really enjoyed the Bees Knees cocktail. The bone marrow appetizer and French onion soup was fantastic as was the trout. The Wagyu ribeye, however, was beyond amazing!! Words can’t describe the taste combination. We enjoyed the 3 course meal which gave so many options. We can’t wait to go back the next time we are in Telluride!

Stunning atmosphere and exquisite food! Outdoor dining in a warm and cozy glass globe with panoramic views of snow falling was absolutely magical. Every detail was thought of and our dining experience is the best we have ever had. From the maître d’ booking the reservation to dessert was nothing less than exceptional. You feel transported to France at this lovely restaurant. Highly recommend!

By far the best dining experience and food in Telluride. Every time I visit the cocktails are unique and delicious, and the food is even better! Everything on the plate is well thought out, perfectly paired, and beautifully displayed. Some of my favorites are the French Onion Soup, Trout, Duck, Wild Berry Tart, and the Crème Brûlée. The Chef, Maggie, very clearly cares about the food she is creating and is very attentive to what her guests need and want. The atmosphere is beautiful and quaint and the knowledgeable and welcoming front of house makes the experience just that much better.

This was one of my favorite meals in Telluride. I have dietary restrictions (gluten and dairy) and I was so impressed that Maggie, the Executive Sous Chef came to the table to discuss each course with me. I had the foix gras – which I never thought I would try in a million years and it was delicious! All the flavors blended together and it was incredible! The wagyu steak was to die for – one of the best steaks of my life. And Maggie took a simple sorbet for dessert and dressed it up with fruit and honey to make it really something special since I couldn’t eat the other desserts. Our waitress, Kaylie, was top notch, friendly, had great suggestions and only stopped by our table if we weren’t talking or eating. I can’t say enough great things about this restaurant – it’s a must if you are in Telluride, especially if you are looking for quiet romance!

Excellent French restaurant very near the gondola station downtown. Three course prix fixe menu, with some nibbles also available if you’re only there to drink and socialize. Cozy indoor seating but the real source of entertainment is dining in one of the outdoor globes. Each appears to accommodate seven people but it’s really neat to do it as a couple. We both ordered Colorado trout amandine as our main, but everyone should get the wagyu steak tartare appetizer. Worth the upcharge, as you can see in the picture. Service was outstanding, very diligent but not overbearing. Extensive wine list from around the world, and if you want to blow some coin on expensive French Grand Cru bottles you can certainly do it here.
