Nice comfy ambience surround for a delicious dinner. Corner location on a way one street, had no problem finding parking. Wait staff were friendly and food was served piping hot! Had the steak fajitas and steak taco.

The food was great, and the service fantastic. Really good salsa came with chips as soon as seated, and they even turned on the fireplace for us! Very nice. It is pretty loud in there, some sound deadening wouldn’t hurt. It is pricey though. I was disappointed at the size of a $16 Carne asada burrito. It was good, though.

We had the most fantastic dining experience at La Marimba! The food was incredibly fresh and bursting with flavor, from enchiladas to the bowls. And the drinks were just as delicious – the margaritas were the perfect balance of sweet and tart.

But it wasn’t just the food and drinks that impressed us – the atmosphere was also absolutely fantastic. The decor was vibrant and colorful. Plus, the service was top-notch, with friendly staff who were happy to offer recommendations and answer our questions.

We can’t recommend this restaurant enough if you’re looking for a truly authentic Mexican dining experience. Do yourself a favor and visit them – your taste buds will thank you!

My husband and I love the food. We come quite often for lunch during the week. El Pastor tacos and ceviche are my favorites. Service is always great!

I had to try this place since a friend recommended it. Service was friendly and welcoming as well as our waitress. My wife ordered the enchiladas with green sauce. I ordered the huachinango a la veracruzana, but they did not have it. So I ordered the ceviche de camaron. Not much came with it. I had to use the chips that came with the salsa to eat my ceviche. I will have to try them out again at a later date in the future.

They don’t take reservations or call aheads but we were able to get a table. Slow service for not being very busy. The guacamole was very good but the limonada was not ready for the day so I ordered a margarita which was decent. My husband got the sangria which I thought was a little heavy on the wine. I wanted the tres leches cake to go and they were out! Plus there were many flies inside. Overall disappointed.

My husband and I were heading to Chipotle. However, since we enjoy trying out new places we stumbled upon Marimba. It was much closer and Eddie the manager was very professional and considerate. My husband had the chicken burrito bowl and I had the chicken burrito with a side of rice and beans along with an horchata. We walked out with smiles on our faces and completely full. Marimba was worth our short lunch date. We recommend it!

“This restaurant is a bit of a hidden gem! I came across it while searching for a Mexican spot in Oswego since it was on our way. We tried three types of tacos and their tortilla soup. My daughter, who’s usually pretty picky, surprised us by eating five tacos — she absolutely loved them! I especially enjoyed the steak tacos and the soup. The salsa served with the chips was deliciously spicy, which I really liked, though the chips were a bit too oily. Overall, we really enjoyed this place, and the prices were quite reasonable.

Was in the area so fireind who is local suggested to try here. Clean but pricey.

Place is kinda of small limited parking. Clean inside and staff is freindly. Food was good. The had a fire place. Was dead around dinner time just us.

Prices are not cheap. $4 a peice for tiny tacos no rice or beans ect if you buy then in 3 or 4 pack. Burrito was decent size but $12 without beans or rice. Most I ever paid in my life for Mexican food and I eat it very often and for countless years.
