Server gave the table away after greeting us. I think he didn’t want to serve a gay couple. Not sure tho. New server was nice. Got the half-chicken, and it was marinated to high hell! SO GOOD! We still decided to tip 18% even though the service could’ve been better. Margs were bomb. Food & Drinks about an A-, service was about a C+. Overall a B experience, I guess.

The food was excellent! Service exceeded our expectations. I would recommend this restaurant if in the area. Teresa was a great waitress.

This place was exceptional! The fajitas were so juicy I couldn’t stop eating them! We shared a whole skillet full of them. Both chicken and beef fajitas. The tortillas were nice and fluffy, just like I like them lol. The unsweet tea was amazing too! I love that it was dead in the middle of fiesta. You can just leave your number and they text you when your table is ready. We had a good time there.

This place is very lively with live Mariachis and very busy with people. The unfortunate part of it is the food and somewhat the service. They are quick but not complete. We weren’t provided with utensils with our food until we asked. The meat for the chicken tacos was dry. The tortillas were not cooked just sweared with oil and slightly heated. The fish sauce on top was bland. The hot sauce that came with it was very good. I would come back for drinks and maybe appetizer, not for dinner tho.

Good food with family. Every thing was great, but the oysters, though good quality, were not shucked properly. Other than that it was a great experience. Our server had our table of 7 plus was assisting a party of twenty plus. She still did an amazing job.

This place has long long lines . 2 lines for fresh baked bread and one for the restaurant. The inside is always hustling with people waiting in line for the panderia or chit chat from the bar . While inline you can check out the history of the restaurant with news clippings and photos on the walls. the ceiling is adorned with pintas shiny star ones . They have a shop to purchase shirts and memorabilia. A marachi band who sing for tips. The food is a good portion size . The chips and salsa are so addictive. I swear they sprinkle a bit of crack on them . Wait time wasn’t bad about 30 min from when you get the buzzer. Staff all friendly and the food portions were hearty. I got chicken taqitos and rice was all so yummy. The tortillas tasted homemade. The pan was a lot of homemade with a bit of flare to the originals. I got a piggy pan with sprinkles. Would go back .

Absolute best MOLE I have ever had. I ordered the chicken enchilada mole. The portion was huge and I didn’t think I would finish but I couldn’t stop. My husband gad the vegetable enchiladas and loved it. This will be a must do next time in San Antonio !

This used to be one of the best places for authentic San Antonio Tex-Mex food. Sadly, my recent visit left me nostalgic for the past when the food was fresh, hearty, and made with love. The chicken sour cream enchiladas were very dry.

Decent food and Rita’s for tourist trap by the Mercado. The outdoor seating is where you wanna people watch. Had the Mezcal Margarita which had that nice smokey roast flavor! Couldn’t believe they had Ceviche topped fresh shucked raw oysters! Looked like the menu was scaled back for Fiesta.
