Delicious seafood. I’m not down with store-bought tortillas. Creative flavor pairing. Pricey for paper plate counter service. Friendly staff.

Excellent Mexican food, but it’s damn expensive. I paid $60 for three items. They were all pretty small and my partner and I both left still pretty hungry. But man, it’s tasty. Really unique flavor combinations balanced perfectly. They warned us that some items are a little spicy, but they were just right.

Scallops in mango cevechi sauce and chips is bomb!! The Hamachi and Tuna is 3.7. It’s a casual place and fresh seafood. i would come back for the seasonal menu. Love it.

We ordered the entire menu and I’m salivating again just thinking about it! They are serving up some of the most authentic Mexican flavors made with love and impeccable care for fresh ingredients. The skill and passion Bo brings to his menu is his own, and the love and excitement of what both Liz and Bo bring to their work is what keeps bringing us around their table! Saturdays they serve up a bagel worth getting out of bed for: pillowy Toasted sesame bagel from Backyard, topped with Bo’s secret saucy, creamy and spicy smoked albacore and salsa macha cream cheese bagel , need I say more? Bring your iced coffee and Take. A. Seat!

La Marea is so insanely delicious. It is located inside of Fair Isle Brewing, so you get the best of both worlds. The menu is small, but each item is amazing. I highly recommend both tostadas equally (the tuna is quite spicy) or the torta (very large). They also run specials sometimes too. In a city that has a lot of restaurants that offer style over substance, La Marea is doing something really special.

This is the most delicious seafood I’ve had in Seattle! The flavors are all distinct yet meld perfectly so you have a flavorful bite every time. The dishes are thoughtfully prepared with care. The hamachi tostada has smoked albacore and a spicy salsa macha. The aguachile also blew me out of the water. The scallops are tender and balanced against the spicy ají amarillo and the brightness of the passion fruit. It’s a celebration of the culture and ingredients!

Very good food but crazy expensive. 2 mini tostadas $43 ($18 each plus tax/tip). Those prices are ridicolous
