Really good, tender and juice carnitas. We loved it because they also have different sides that go with the carnitas, like guacamole, nopales, grilled onions and potatoes, panela cheese, and different kind of salsa, from the mild to the hottest. Very friendly and very clean.

Place has a different home cooked options. The tamales are prepared and are good with salsa and sour creme, But plain they are just mid as well. The carnitas were medium on flavor. Didn’t see any agua Fresca options only sodas and regular juice from the cooler.
I asked for there top selling chicharon since they have 3 options and said they were all good and sold well. Well the one I choose had nothing but fat no meat on it. Usually there’s a big line on weekends.

I went there today and spent 50 bucks on a family combo #2. They didn’t give me the correct meat and when I called back they could not care less. This place has gone downhill I would recommend skipping. People that work there act like they are doing you a favor. Used to go here with my mom and grandma what a shame.

Carnitas were ok. They’re fresh but they taste ok. Guac was nasty. Salsa was like whatever. Probably won’t come back. Parking sucks.

I traveled quite away to try their popular chicharon with guacamole. First off, there’s not a plate on the menu that has those items together. You have to order them separately. I ordered 1/2 a pound of chicharon, 1/2 a pound of guacamole, and 1/2 a pond of salsa de molcajete. The chicharon came out cold, tough, and chewy in a plastic bag. The guacamole was nothing special and the salsa was watered down. This place is not well catered for indoor dining as well. I asked for utensils, and the lady went to the back and brought me a fork and spoon and gave me three paper towels from a roll of paper she had under the front counter. This place is off a main street so there’s very limited street parking in the front otherwise parking is in the back and easy to miss. They also charged me a $1 fee to use a credit card. I was just overly dissatisfied. Save the drive it’s not worth the hype.

Went there on September 25, 2025 to pay a package #4 I asked to be cut small for my daughter’s birthday party to have the invites served themselves tacos to my surprise Saturday my husband picked up the order and when I opened the mix tray meats the pieces weren’t closed to chopped as you can see in the pictures. I called and ask what had happened even stopped by Tuesday and spoked to a manager it’s Wednesday and haven’t heard from them seems they don’t care to satisfied the customer. Very disappointed.

Was there yesterday about 6:30 pm. Rude cashier. Very sarcastic. Only because I asked why their salsa was watery. She must have made it because she acted like I offended her. Not going back!
Salsas used to be good here but lately, seems over watered down to make it last longer for them. Salsas should have texture, chunky-ness so it can stay in the taco or eat with tortilla chips as an appetizer, not drip all over.

Had to make a stop to add a few items for our new years dinner at home. She loves warm fresh corn tortillas with some butter and salt. I was craving chicharrones with some fresh guac. Place was closed for some remodeling. From what I saw today not really sure what changed. Place has small local vibes. Feels like the tortillería next to my abuela’s in peralvillo back 50 years ago. The food is goodness and will bring back all fond memories of your abuela, mama, o tia. The service is quick and very friendly. Give your self a treat on the diet cheat day. You will not feel too guilty. Buen Provecho !

My mom has been coming here for YEARS and the tortillas never failed. Yellow corn tortillas right off the press.

I don’t know what happened but the last 3 times we have purchased the same tortillas they tasted bad. They are not putting Cal anymore and it changed the flavor completely. They are no longer yellow tortillas they are white tortillas. Maybe it’s Maseca now, I dont know. But sadly they lost us as customers.

Updated review: seems like they fixed their tortillas. We went back to give it a try an they are back to normal. Thank you
