Honestly, I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve eaten at La Maison since 2014—it’s just that good. Tucked away in a quiet alley off Nam Kỳ Khởi Nghĩa Street in District 3, this charming little gem feels like a mini escape every time I return.
The vibe? Super cozy and intimate, like dining at a stylish friend’s home. The space radiates the same warm, positive energy as the owner. And the staff? Absolutely wonderful—attentive, friendly, and helpful from the moment you book a table to the very last bite of dessert. Truly top-tier service.
The food? You can taste the passion and expertise in every dish. It’s a flawless fusion of French elegance and Vietnamese soul. And the drinks? I don’t know what kind of magic they’re working behind the bar, but I’m officially obsessed.
Honestly, I keep thinking La Maison deserves to be Michelin Selected. I’m genuinely surprised it hasn’t been recognized yet. Fingers crossed that changes soon—they’ve more than earned it.
PS: La Maison never misses. I’m already looking forward to my next visit—probably way sooner than I should admit.

Super charming place with excellent service, yummy food, and the right ambiance. I asked to be seated outside by the garden. They set up a fan for me and put on the pretty lights. The seafood and produce was fresh, and the mushroom soup was so rich! Presentation is tops. Great drinks and you definitely feel spoiled here. As I was leaving, the owner offered to share travel tips plus some decadent truffles her kitchen is developing (they are amazing). I saw more locals than tourists dining there. Definitely worth a visit!!

Fabulous. The food here is excellent and served by very polite and enthusiastic staff. There are set menus two at 660 and one at a million dong, or you can go al a carte. The menus is not extensive, which is a good thing really, be excellent at a few dishes.
The dining area is very clean and very tidy with a very warm atmosphere. We enjoyed our visit.
Be warned, the prices are not “Vietnam” prices, in fact it can be expensive, European prices, but to do this right everything has to be imported. We had an excellent French wine, the duck breast with a delicious salad.
One thing we found odd is there is a cheese platter starter but no cheese platter before the dessert or after the main, we ignored this and had a starter, main then the cheese platter to finish off the last of the wine, ending with a delicious coffee and a Remy Martin, everything was very well served and presented. In all don’t we spent 3million dong. Told you. European prices!!
In all very very good if you don’t mind the expense. A lovely restaurant with lovely staff.

I love every bit of the set menu I got which included Creamy Crab Soup, Baked French Bulot Snail with salted egg yolk, Beef Sirloin with Potato Au Gratin and Hot Chocolate Lava.
Highly recommend anyone who loves good food, good service, and a wonderful dining experience (who doesn’t?) to give it a try!

Food is good, but come with the high price. There seems to be not enough waiter to support for all the customer as our table is mostly ignored. Also the music night has many technical issues and take a very long time before it can begin. Maybe because this is on Xmas day, but I expect more from the restaurant to the service more smoothly.

A hidden gem ticked off a busy main street. We both had different set menus for lunch. Both classic choices which were beautifully plated and totally delicious. If you need some calm and classy French cooking make sure to stop by.
