Great way to finish off a day at the Louvre. After lunch we wanted French chocolate. They did not disappoint. Several samples were offered. Unfortunately, they never made it back to the states… ♂️

As one of the famous brands of Chocolate/Macaron, I think they will still have tons of customers even if I rated it at two-star. There is no doubt that their product is awesome – especially their Macaron.
However, this is to comment on the staff in the store at Carrousel du Louvre. I totally understand that the location (beside Louvre Museum) spoils them with tons of tourists who usually buy boxes of chocolate. However, I didn’t feel any respect when visiting the store… One of the examples – I asked the staff for recommendation on Macaron flavour, yet the staff fingered at one of them (the Chocolate one as that’s their flag product) with reluctance… I further asked if any else, but what I got is “then No.” hmmm so your staff training only taught you to sell chocolate? I bought a passion fruit one at the end, and it was super delicious…
Anyway, if you don’t mind the service quality, their product quality is super high. Visiting another store might be a solution lol

I am not into sweet things but the chocolate eclair is underseasoned…it can be a bit sweeter i think. The chocolate flavour is not too strong as a result. Quite disappointing considering the high price tag of 6.9euro. I prefer the one at Stroher…

Bought chocolate for a friend back in the states and macaroons for us to try, a set of 6. The macaroons were so soft. It just crumbles in your mouth in a good way. I would say it was bordering overly sweet because of the rich chocolate inside. However, the macaroon shell itself was made perfectly. I would definitely recommend this place. Of course the chocolate was delicious.

I am not a big lover of macarons but what melted my heart-your staff. I don’t know her name but she is really 5 star. She looked like from Philippines but doesn’t matter. Somehow I felt she likes what she does. Macarons are nice though.
