I am so glad we came to La Maison for breakfast! It was great. The service was friendly and the food was outstanding. I’m glad we didn’t opt for the more generic diner vibe options because this place was perfect. 10/10 would go again.

We missed our exit heading back to the valley and as we turned up a street behind the 101 we saw this cute little cafe. With ample parking next door we decided to stop in for brunch.
We were so presently surprised by how wonderful the food was.
We were treated to lemon water and fresh fruit as we ordered.
I had the Provence omelette with a croissant! Yumm!
Caramelized onions, peppers, ham, Gruyère, omelette – enough for left overs!

We also grabbed a cinnamon roll on our way out.
I only wish we got there earlier to buy more pastries.

Looking forward to a date trip back to the coast and I know where will stop for brunch again.

The restaurant is small and intimate. What they lack in space they make up for in great service, and quality food.

Absolute gem you’ll be glad you found.
We were here once again in January 2025 and learned they take advanced reservations (not same day)- a must for small groups (worth the wait though)!
It’s a small dining space, so there will likely be a wait. The waitstaff are lovely and everything on the menu is great. On a recent visit (June 2025) we tried the crepes- incredible, now a staple! I think we’ve now had it all…
You can also simply get pasteries to go. Previous post-
The food was delicious- prices have gone up since our last visit, but that’s typical most places, and the food here is absolutely worth it. We tried the bananas with cream and hazelnuts- fun treat! Croissants are divine.

This fine mademoiselle knows how to prepare a poached egg to perfection! We loved everything about this cozy little French cafe from the moment we entered. Fresh squeezed orange juice, hot tea, honey, breakfast sandwich and the Salmon Eggs Benedict were all delicious! We are visiting Newport but if I lived here I would become a regular! Merci beaucoup!

We went here as a group of four friends and had a fantastic breakfast experience!
They even have a ramp and wide enough entry area for our wheelchair, which was very nice.
We had their French omelette with cheese and it was so smooth and flavorful we just loved it! We also had their French toast and oh man it was good!
The service is fast and very friendly even though they were very busy on a Sunday morning.
We will definitely return for future meals here!

Loved this café!!

We both ordered eggs Benedict (his with honey baked ham, mine with bacon and artichoke heart). The breakfast came with seasonal fruit, but we ate it too quickly to add a picture
The English muffins were made from scratch, all fresh ingredients.

They are family owned, and everyone there was working hard, and the cook/chef took pride and care in making all of the food! They serve brunch until 12pm, then there is a new lunch menu given out. They listed that they will start serving dinners as well in March.

We loved the experience and will definitely be back to try the lunch and dinner menus!

Food is delicious thats the only thing thing I can say positive.
They have a table RIGHT next to the bathroom and a garbage can and unfortunately thats where they sat us
And we asked for plain French toast and what we got wasn’t that. When I asked they said that was what they served and was final. So I paid 21 for French toast I didn’t order.
That door leads to a bathroom
My leg is almost to the garbage can
And picture of our French toast.

My partner and I drive over an hour just to visit our beloved La Maison!!! The food is impeccable, the staff are ALWAYS so friendly and greet you with a smile and a warm welcome. They also bake some of the BEST olive rosemary bread, and carry some local companies’ products. Now, their bakery section? We immediately claim what we would like to buy from the window as they are a hot commodity! The banana eclairs will always be our favorite, but literally anything you get from there won’t disappoint. I enjoyed a Monte Cristo today that was huge!! I could only eat maybe 1/3 of it before packing it back home. I also tried a local company that makes marionberry lemonade at one of the staff (I believe maybe the owner?) suggestions, and she nailed it – it was delicious on this warm sunny day! As always, we will be back ❤️

We are visiting, they open at 9 am sharp with people already waiting.(that good)They have very limited seating .We didn’t have to wait but after trying the food would have gladly waited. Local owned an the vibe is awesome. They have passion watching them cook. The pastries are amazing. We got cherry turnover, chocolate eclair, and are taking a couple for the road . Flaky well baked, proofed just right. Even filling inside. House coffee is strong in massive mugs, attention to detail. They do have espresso drinks an cake as well. The cake , pastries an coffee is not on the hand menu but displayed. They have a chalk board for beverages. Sitting here watching locals come in for a quick pasties. They have take out as well. An you can come in for a cup of coffee an pastries to go.i would say better then homemade cuz i would never be getting up this early to make food this amazing I gave them five stars. For bring in a seaside town they have amazing innovative breakfast hard pressed to find . Even with limited seating an a couple odds an ends five stars. The crossaints big as my hand. The ham on the bennies massive slabs grilled . Woof. Yum
Came back four years later on my birthday. Adding current menu also more pics I recommend crepes chambord with ham and artichokes

Eggs Benedict is one of my favorite foods, so I’m a little picky about it, but the La Maison Salmon Benedict gets a solid 5 stars! The sauce was perfect and the homemade English muffins were spectacular. The coffee is great as well as the pastries. We will definitely be back.

The one thing I would suggest is to bring a sweater in the winter. It’s in a cute old house with a lovely atmosphere, but the single-paned windows make it a little chilly.
