It’s clear that the staff is still learning how to operate in this new restaurant. I can’t fault them much for that. However, the atmosphere in the restaurant is very nice. Perfect for a quiet meeting with a friend or a family gathering. I enjoyed what I ordered as did the people with me. The setup is cafeteria/eatery style when it comes to ordering and paying before you sit down. The dining area is more like a traditional sit down restaurant.

I’m my opinion it would be better if they had some signage letting you know to order first, or maybe even have the menu posted overhead so that people will know to order then sit down. Many people I saw who walked in looked a bit confused about the way things work. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I would come back to maybe try their breakfast food.

Desserts, french dishes and soups are great. Dont get an american bfast or you will be dissapointed. The vibe and setting great for family brunch, lunch or dinner. Of course with the awesome dessert, a nice place to catch up with friends over coffee. The foyer entrance is also a nice place to take a pic 🙂

All I can say is this place is AMAZING! Nicole our server was the absolute best! She was attentive, quick service and she was very nice and personable! She knew the menu well and explained every question we had. The food is delicious! The portions we’re great! One of the best croissants I’ve had. So buttery and flaky! The coffee is way better than Starbucks! We had a wonderful experience. Absolutely nothing bad to say! We will return! Can’t wait to try my coconut cake and chocolate cake at home! Which I’m sure will be amazing like the rest of the food!

I truly do love this place! I went here for my very first time a week or so ago. The staff is lovely, and the food is delicious. As a vegetarian it’s very hard to find good food sometimes but, this wonderful cafe surpassed my expectations on having any options at all! I visit France a lot, and even speak the language- and this place makes me feel like I am there! Even the food resembles french cuisine. This cafe has beautiful decor and, I adore the music they play here! This place is absolutely pristine and, very clean. All and, all I would definitely recommend this place to anybody who loves small cafes! Great place!

First time here, around 2 in the afternoon so it wasn’t very busy. The staff was very kind and helpful. My quiche and latte were so tasty. I got a fruit tart that tasted as delicious as it looked. It took a few minutes for my food to come out, but it was all warm and looked fresh so I was totally ok with it. Considering this is a chain restaurant, I thought it had a cute ambiance and I’ll be back.

I really really want this place to succeed but I don’t know what is going on with the setup at La Madeleine. First off, my girlfriend and I love coming here for lunch since it’s usually quick and the food is good (especially the desserts). It’s basically a “French” Panera but with better options and more reasonable prices (I would probably give 4.5 stars for the food and $ alone). However, every time I come here I’m baffled at how ridiculous their system is for ordering food. It used to be that you came in and ordered at the counter first and then went down to the cash register. BUT, you could only ask for the food that is prepared up front (like the salads and quiches) at the counter. If you wanted one of the sandwiches/soups, they told you to order that when you got down to the register. Since they offer all sorts of soup/salad/sandwich combinations it gets really annoying when you aren’t able to simply order your entire meal all at once! This may not sound that bad but trust me, I saw a woman in front of me lose her mind over trying to order half a sandwich and a cup of soup one day. On top of that, the staff just doesn’t seem to know what’s going as they have gotten my order wrong multiple times when they bring the food out.

Now, last time we came to La Mad everything had changed. We were prepared to walk up and go through the disaster that is their ordering system when I noticed waitresses taking orders at tables. I asked one of the staff walking by if they were now doing seating and she said yes (even though there was no sign that said please see hostess or any other indication that this had changed). After seating us, our waitress seemed terrified to take our order. I’m not sure if she just started working there but she genuinely appeared scared every time she came over to our table (almost as scared as I used to be when ordering their food at the counter). While the food was good (as it usually is) we probably waited twice as long to get it which was a bummer and on top of that, now it seems like you would need to leave a tip since you are being waited on! After waiting another 10 minutes for a box and our check, our waitress didn’t mention anything about paying which (surprise!) is done up at the counter. Please please please just go back to ordering your food at the counter and please help your staff so that they don’t seem so clueless! It would be so easy to simply place your order at the cash register first and then go pick up your food (like EVERY.OTHER. walk-in place).

I will definitely be back because as I said, I really do like the food here but I hope they can fix the ordering system because it’s a nightmare.

Went to la Madeleine with my wife on Sunday morning for breakfast. This was the first time experience. We both liked it very much, food was good, coffee was great and a warm and cozy atmosphere. Background music was relaxing, they played a lot of classical peaces. Our waiter, Blake, was great, very attentive and friendly. He said that this is one of the few restaurants in this chain that has waiters, all others are self service. Will comeback again and recommend to our friends.

Bottom line: great place for a relaxing meal.
