Quaint French cafe chain serving rustic country fare, espresso & fresh-baked baguettes.

Went for breakfas and ordered the hot chai latte. I was hot and delicious. I also had the French toast bfast with eggas and bacon, also good. We got some pastries to go nd will have them tomorrow with coffee on our way to work. The restaurant is clean and service was friendly and fast. I will defender recommend this place to friends and family.

I have dined here before, and the food was terrific; however, we did get takeout, and it was disgusting. The crepe, which should have been strawberry and whipped cream, had watery chocolate all over the bottom. The French toast was soggy bread. The creme brulee was liquid, and the chocolate tart turned into a fruit tart. They also forgot the Caesar salad that was supposed to accompany the sandwich. Definitely would not recommend this place. Spent over $80 after tip, and 80% of this is going in the trash

I love coming to this place, I can have breakfast, lunch or dinner. It has a menu adapted to all tastes. Ample parking and its staff is attentive and friendly. The dessert and pastry area are excellent. Don’t hesitate to come and meet him.

Wanted to grab something quick on my work break and liked the menu offerings. I was not disappointed. The restaurant is a cross between a cafeteria style/bakery ordering and a cozy rustic atmosphere, with lots of seating in different rooms that make it feel more private and personal away from other crowds. The employees were super kind and gave me recommendations on dinner choices. I got the croque monsieur and seasonal chicken salad and both were delicious and exactly what I was looking for. The pricing was affordable. And the bakery still had dessert options despite being 1 hour to close. I really liked this place for my first time there, will definitely be back as there were so many options on their menu and bakery that I wanted to try. Definitely recommend.

Very nice and simplistic French cafe. The decor and fireplace are nice, however, I stood awhile before being served. The ham and cheese quiche is nice, but I have had amazing ones. I would still reorder it as it’s done nicely. The Linzer cookies. Now those are yummy. I think I would go back for the cookies.

This French cafe chain in the Spectrum at Reston Town Center delivers an outstanding breakfast experience, a fantastic selection of espresso beverages, and delectable French countryside fare, all at very reasonable prices. The charming old-country-style interior with a fireplace and captivating posters creates a warm atmosphere that enhanced our visit. The service is impressively quick and friendly.
The avocado toast is a standout, topped with smashed avocado and balsamic vinaigrette on Turano bread, while the French country breakfast is hearty and satisfying. The lattes are creamy and satisfying. The waffle was soft, fluffy, and tasted perfect with blueberry syrup and cream cheese filling. Plus, the ample parking right in front of the cafe makes it convenient to enjoy breakfast here. I can’t wait to return and indulge in their French pastries and sweet treats soon!

I had an amazing experience at La Madeleine! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented—everything tasted authentic and comforting. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a meal. What truly stood out, though, was the stellar service from the manager. She went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, checking in with us and creating such a welcoming environment. Exceptional food and outstanding leadership—highly recommend!

Monday morning. It’s been a while; probably in the 90s when I had last visited. Still confusing on how to start an order. The Quiche was a bit dry. My Cappuccino was more like a Latte, and also lacking coffee taste. The ambience remains cozy but the music system in the background needs an upgrade.

La Madeleine in Reston is a hidden gem for French-inspired comfort food! The fruit tarts were fresh and absolutely divine sweet, tart, and buttery perfection. The Chicken Madeleine was rich and flavorful, and both the French onion soup and vegetable soup hit the spot, savory, hearty, and full of depth.
Only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the seating layout, some tables are a bit too close together, which can feel cramped during busier hours when everyone is trying to get by with their food trays. But overall, the food service and cozy vibe make it worth the visit. I’ll definitely be back! ️
