Highly recommend this place! The spicy margarita was amazing to start. I got the lobster and an order of steak. Extremely dedicated and attentive staff. The ambiance is just fantastic here as well. Highly recommend trying this place out!

Service was amazing. Our server Bengie was great and attentive. He’s a character and made our visit worthwhile. However, our food was cold and our beers were warm. Bengie immediately replaced the beers. I was not impressed with the taste of the food.

The place is nice and different, although when ordering the Fettuccine Alfredo the menu does not say its a child’s plate and when I mentioned the size of my serving the waiter said “I can bring you bread so you can get full”. That is not an answer!!!
The menu did not say it was a child’s plate until the check was brought to pay.
If I new, I would have ordered something different.
Please be aware of these details, I believe the place is truly good but these type of things do not make me want to come back.

Disappointing Experience – Definitely Overhyped
We had high hopes for this place based on all the buzz, but honestly, it fell flat. From the moment we sat down, the staff felt more like hawks than hosts—staring constantly and hovering to the point of discomfort. It wasn’t welcoming, it was overbearing.
The steak? Just okay. Certainly not worth the hype or the price tag. Add to that the harsh lighting from the LED screens overhead, which made the whole atmosphere feel cold and uncomfortable.
To make matters worse, there were flies around our table—never a good sign in a restaurant that’s supposed to be upscale.
We ended up cutting our meal short and heading elsewhere to celebrate a birthday. If you’re looking for a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience, go somewhere else.

The food at La Madalena was absolutely incredible, but sadly, the staff completely ruined what should have been a special anniversary dinner. From the moment we sat down, the waiter relentlessly tried to upsell us, despite us clearly mentioning that we only wanted a light meal to enjoy the atmosphere. It became frustrating very quickly as he repeatedly pushed large steaks and dishes we had no interest in, ignoring our attempts to politely decline.
Even worse, the service was unhelpful when it came to portion sizes. At most restaurants, staff are attentive enough to advise when you might be overordering, but here, it felt like the opposite—we ended up with more food than we needed because no one mentioned how large the servings were.
The worst part of the night was at the end when we went to pay. Two staff members stood over us and tried to intimidate us into tipping more than we felt was fair. It was uncomfortable, aggressive, and completely unacceptable behavior.
While the food was excellent, the appalling service overshadowed the entire experience.
We can’t recommend this place unless major changes are made to how staff interact with customers. At this stage, avoid at all costs.
