If you’re a parent who’s done with fighting for parking, shouting over music, and paying $18 for “elevated street tacos,” this is your spot.
Plenty of parking. Easy in and out off 290 (just one block over, so you skip the highway chaos). Fair prices.
And best of all
No gimmicks. No forced “experience.” Just real, home-cooked food made fresh — including handmade tortillas that taste like they’re supposed to.

The food is authentic Mexican styled food. The portions are large, tasty and well prepared. The restaurant is located in a small strip center, so, it’s not fancy. It is clean, well decorated and cozy. There are about 15-20 tables. They, also, sell living succulents (cactus plants), at various prices. Great to enhance your own garden or give as a gift. Chicken enchiladas are delicious, as well as the cheese ones. Christmas. Music, in Spanish, was playing. Nice to listen to.

Okay Tik Tok brought us to this place and I can say it didn’t disappoint. The food was delicious and full of cheese and plenty of meat. They also have the red Mexican soda (Fruit Punch) which is kinda rare to see in restaurants. The service was really nice and attentive when taking our order and giving us what we needed. They also provided their opinion on certain foods we had questions about. The reason I give this place 4 out of 5 was because the server stopped attending to us after a while when there was only 2 families in the restaurant during the middle of the week and the fact the salsa doesn’t come in a small bowl to dip the chips in only in bottles. But other than that this place was great and we will be back that is for sure!

This place was amazing the food was fantastic service was great. The margaritas were a little inconsistent, me and my wife order two the first ones came out I had more ice she had more drink, the seconds ones came she had more ice I had more drink. Other than that everything was amazing highly recommend to anyone!

Let me start this review by stating, I’m from north Jersey. So I’ve grown up around a lot of Mexican, Dominican, Puerto Rican, and Colombian food spots. From hole in the wall places, to well reviewed establishments. I can say none of them have come close to the things I have experienced here. The sauces they bring to your table are all on point. Ranging from spicy to just a bit sweet. The small tease of beans they bring out to you too is soooo flavorful. It gets the appetite rolling and prepare you for whatever you ordered. I had the barbacoa tacos, with the corn tortillas. My wife had the steak ones. When I tell you I tasted the love and passion in each mouth watering, meat melting bite. I literally was reminded of the day I first met my wife and had a moment of unrivaled bliss. Baby if you’re reading this. These tacos made me cheat, I still love you though lol. Honestly get down here to this place. It’s small, intimate, and filled with good vibes and even better food. I will always make this a priority stop whenever I’m in Houston!

When we walked in we were immediately greeted with chips and 3 bottles of salsas! I knew it was gonna be good!! I was really impressed with their tacos! I ordered tripitas tacos and pastor and we had a couple of margaritas! I absolutely recommend and will be back!

Really great food here. Their food is as fresh and authentic as you can get. Great charro beans to begin your meal, the tortillas are made to order, and their meats are well seasoned and delicious. The queso is also great appetizer. The horchata and lemonade are very refreshing. I don’t know what else I can say, other than make sure you get out here and treat yourself to some delicious tacos.
