Frankly, La Loteria was a dissapointment.
It’s only saving grace was the seasonal (maybe?) Birria Tomale. The serving of 1 tomal in a huge pot was kinda ridiculous, but atleast this dish was hot and flavorful.
If we would have only ordered tacos, I would have only given 1 star.
We didn’t order much, just 1 Carne Asado, 1 Lengua, and 1 Al Pastor tacos. These were all room temperature, had very dry tortillas, weird (overcooked) textured, and very little flavor.
The carne asada was so tough and over cooked, the langua had nice texture, but zero flavor, and the al pastor was dry and the only flavor was in the pineapple.
We also started with chips and salsa…delivered to our dine in table in a paper bag….save some trees, wash a dish and give me chips in a bowl or basket…not a Togo bag.
Overall, very dissapointed in La Loteria.

Awesome staff very helpful and attentive. Food was better than suerte in down south Texas, Food was very good and had a touch of love,the tortillas made on the spot. Worth the wait Food and price. Great for couples date night coming from Texan resident did not disappoint. Definitely will be back soon i hope.

You have to order before sitting down to eat fast casual style but food came out so quickly. The place is small but well decorated and has a good atmosphere. I tried the birria tacos, which were in my opinion very small and the meat was salty. The nachos were much better. A little pricey

First time visiting La Loteria oh my goodness this place is to dye for! The minute you walk in you’re greeted by such a warm beautiful welcome. The food is absolutely delicious, the micheladas are out of this world! The owner Edgar is awesome, literally makes you feel like family. I highly recommend coming down to check out this restaurant you will not be disappointed. Thank you so much again Edgar to you and your beautiful family. Came all the way from TN cheese dip on point. Amazing taco had the fish and shrimp myself. The fish was strong fish taste but good. The shrimp was really good. Husband liked his food as well

You must order before you are seated. It’s a smaller restaurant so not really good for big groups of people. Food was fresh and service was fast. The chihuahuas fundido was so good and cheesy as an appetizer. Those enchiladas were the best I have ever had and highly recommend. They have a kids menu typically options. Didn’t get any of their alcoholic drinks but everyone there ordered one. Definitely would come back and recommend.

WARNING: DO NOT EAT HERE! The place smelled horrible. Guy at the counter did not put in what I asked for. He acted like he was too good to be at the register answering questions about the menu he just kinda looked around and mumbled under his breath. Happy hour menu is $1 off of a few items. Menu is trash. Expensive for the crap they serve. Foood was not even luke warm at best. I give this place a few weeks before it’s shut down. Probably some of the worst food I have ever had. This is the kinda restaurant you eat at and know you’re gonna get sick afterwards. They say their prices are to pay better hourly wages but they also force an 18% gratuity charge the. Ask for a tip. So all in all nasty smell, terrible food, terrible service, expensive for the crap they serve. I have never had a worse experience than at this restaurant. I know chains have low standards but at least they are a brand. This place is just awful for no reason. Don’t waste your money this place will be closed in the next few weeks

Great food I got the cali burrito is was amazing the green chile was great avocado in burrito was ripe and great shared a buzz all margarita with my wife and it was delicious if you wrote a bad review about this place mad about a standard tip get over it I’m sorry your plan to not tip failed great service best Mexican food in Denver
