Very good experience here! Went to Outback first, parking lot only half full and told a 15-minute wait? Went to Applebee’s and had a horrible experience. Greeter rolled her eyes when we walked in. Waited 40 minutes for the appetizer to arrive. One drink had a black floaty in it. Asked for another and had to wait for plates for the appetizer while it was getting cold. Noticed a hair on the appetizer, so we told them we’re not paying and walked out. Came to La Leyenda and man it was great! Seated fast. Excellent service from our waitress. Very clean restaurant. Haven’t had better Mexican food anywhere ever. We will be going to La Leyenda next time we’re in Dothan. Keep up the good work and thank you for the great experience!

First time trying this place out. The food is good and the quantity of food that you get for the price is excellent. The burrito that my husband got was big enough to feed 3 people. I got the steak enchiladas which is 3 cheese enchiladas covered in diced steak and their red sauce,jalapenos, and cheese. It also comes with rice and beans. It was enough food to feed 2 people. We got 2 sweet teas and our grand total for our meal was $35.35. Service could be a lil better. You wait quite a while for drink refills and your check to be brought to you.

Honestly, this was the worst dining experience of my life so far. It deserves negative stars. The salsa is more pizza sauce adjacent than Mexican. The cheese dip was thin. It was the most edible part of the meal. My soda was flat. My husband’s soda was less flat, like the waitress changed out the CO2 and gave me the flat soda instead of dumping it out. Do not go there if you are mold sensitive. I was having an allergic reaction due to the mold in the air and probably the soda machine. You can smell the mold inside the restaurant. Our meals were inedible. The tortillas on the burritos tasted off and were soggy and lukewarm like they’ve sat for awhile. The steak in my burrito was tough. It was altogether gross, flavorless and a health hazard. I go to a bunch of mexican restaurants this by far has been the absolute worst. I will not be back.

The last few visits and online orders we’ve had here have been just a disappointing experience. Our order a couple weeks ago was completely wrong, and it was hard to get it fixed. Then last night we placed a DoorDash, got it, and my husbands Quesabirria tacos were just inedible. They were only fat, no actual beef. He could not eat them.

Not feeling well? I can definitely recommend the chicken soup here! A giant piping hot bowl came full of shredded chicken and rice with a rich, flavorful broth. Definitely a pick me up if you’re under the weather!

The food was actually good. I would say It could use a bit more seasoning. The food lacked flavor. The salsa wasn’t spicy either. We asked for their hottest and well, not even close to siracha lol. But wasn’t a bad flavor. I loved the fact their tortillas were authentic, which was a plus.
